«The office where you checked in, smells like dog. When we checked into our room it appeared to be clean. The sheets on the bed were clean, but there was mold on the shower curtain and hair in the bathroom. The next morning, we found a camera glued to the top of the TV. Who knows if it was recording, but it is disturbing and a violation of privacy. Do not stay here»

«A basic older property with 70s decor. Not bad, just basic. Nice Friendly staff. Nice cable tv options. Be careful, the door handle is sooo close to the door frame, twice it pinched my hand closing the door; the second time it riped my skin and drew much blood.»

«The house is truly in a beautiful area! The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans as well as many condiments and general supplies. Beds were super comfortable and the living arrangements and deck worked well for our family of six - 2 kids, grandparents and parents. It was a great location for exploring the John Day fossil beds. »

«Jessie is a very accommodating host, and her VRBO is excellent! The little bungalow is always clean, has front door parking, and she is even accommodating to fur babies. It is within walking distance to downtown even! The patio is a great space, and has a grill that is great for an evening in. The queen bed is comfortable and Jessie has black out shades which is appreciated. This is our second stay and we would stay again. 5 stars!»

«This is a beautiful home, on property. Conveniently located to John Day and Canyonville, yet just the right distance from them to be extremely peaceful! No sirens or horns. The home is large, great kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Large front and back decks to enjoy the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, I was sad to leave. I was surrounded by deer and the beautiful scenery. The view from the front porch is spectacular and the starry night skies are huge. Beautiful home ...
