«The building is located by a cow and pig slaughter house. The wind would blow the stench of rotting flesh towards the cabin. We could not enjoy the being outside. My dogs was frighten to walk on the property. This was the worse vacation I have ever had. I would not recommend it to anyone. The cabin was very dark. The light in the bathroom vanity did not work. We had only 1 toilet paper roll. No bath soap was left. Thank goodness I brought soap and toilet paper. We were far away from the Dollar ...

There was a leak in the downstairs bedroom from the ceiling light fixture. The upstairs area stayed warm all the time. The creek and beach area we really enjoyed. The host was amazing and incredibly kind — they even provided fresh fruit and bottled water for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. «This has got to be the best little gem in Vancleave. The gorgeous cabin was stocked with games, books, and movies, and that doesn't even compare to the spectacular nature preserve it is nestled within. There are other cabins on the property, but they mostly make you feel secure in case of an emergency.
