«This place, although the pictures look nice is not what it was… it needs to be updated a lot. There are no amenities. Just the bar basics and you can get other places to go for around the same price with a lot more cleanliness and amenities included. We opted for a bed-and-breakfast instead up the street called the Eagles rest it was excellent.»

«A pleasant surprise on our journey east. Found this treasure on a whim. Looking for a non-chain, hometown restaurant to get some dinner while on the road. Ended up making this spot our hotel for the night, too! Food was tasty. Service was friendly. Rooms were very charming. Prepare yourself for the loud engines racing by on a Sunday morning though. The hotel has no control over this, but the locals could learn to do better.»
