«Check in was easy,very nice breakfast, the jacuzzi was only working half of it's nozzles, the pool was ice cold,our daughters room had ants an other bugs! couldn't get the tv to work! The room's phone was dead! To had to go to front desk to get the help we needed. The TV was easily fixed , but the phone remained dead the day we left. The cost for the two rooms seemed very high(over $450 for two days) We were attending a funeral for my sister, so it was good to be close.»

«The room was as shown in the photos. Clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The Motel though was decrepit on the outside. No one in reception. they had to make a photocopy of my driver's license to let me in. NO water glass or cup in the room. Expedia totally misled on this booking.»

«This place took our money and we're not even open. Then refused to give us a refund when we arrived and found the place completely abandoned! No staff, no renters, no access to main area for food, no breakfast as advertised! Be very wary and don't stay there!! »

«We really didn’t know what we were getting into but this place is a beautiful gem on Smith Mountain Lake. All new, clean, serene. They have kayaks and standup paddle boards. We brought our own floats and did a lot of swimming. We went over to the state park and height, explored some of the historical markers in the area, and there’s plenty of biking and kayaking in Roanoke, which is only about 40 minutes away. The owners are very dedicated and friendly. We loved it and plan to go back.»
