«This "hotel" is approximately 28 units total. No elevators. The entire lower level is rented as housing units.(my best guess, subsidized housing) The place was filthy. There was, we believe, blood splatter on the bathroom door and it didn't shut. The bed skirts were filthy with what I suspect was mold. Floor and walls patched. Literally nowhere else around to go. «The house was beautiful! Parts of it were built in 1880 with very high ceilings. The kitchen was modern. The pool was very clean and the pool area was really nice. Our hosts very kind and accomodating. We might stay with them next summer.»

«This is a great cabin to get away from it all. The outdoor space is great - we loved the porch and spent a lot of time outside. The kitchen had what you needed - we cooked most of our meals there. It must be a newer rental, though, not much of the accumulated "stuff" you may be used to finding. The bedrooms were comfortable. The TV never came on. «The property was very clean and nice for our stay. The only complaint was that the main cabin was pretty hot and the wall unit was not able to cool the living room/main living space down. It doesn’t help that it has been 90 degrees though, so I’m sure this place is 5 stars during the fall!»

«We had a great week exploring Red River Gorge with the cabin being a perfect basecamp for our family of 5! Any questions were quickly answered and communication was great with the host. The sound of rain on the metal roof was wonderful as we sipped coffee on the front porch, with singing birds and bright blue-tailed skinks about. The well-equipped cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and keep all bellies full after long hikes! Thank you!»

«We absolutely loved our stay here. The host thought of everything that you might need. Beautiful home, quiet and peaceful. We had a blast fishing and using the paddle boat. We truly enjoyed watching the beautiful Scottish cow and the horses on the property! We had fire down at the firepit where our grandsons experienced their first Smores. It was more pleasant and beautiful than we expected. I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend to anyone needing some tranquility!!! Love...love...loved ...

«Our annual family girls trip was fantastic. The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous. The breakfasts provided were delicious. We accidentally locked one of the bathroom doors and Ryan came right away to unlock it for us. He gave us recommendations of things to do in the area. The mosquitoes were very active, so bring some repellent if it is mosquito season, so that you can enjoy the porches and the trails. I wish we had been able to stay longer.»
