«We stayed at the Retreat for a family wedding , we had 5 adults and still had room for more. The rumpus room with pool table and table tennis table was a huge bonus and we were the envy of others that stayed there. The house was great and we did not need anything else to make our stay better, we were warned to bring everything with us. All the wildlife around was wonderful as well, reminded us that we live in Australia. It was a shame that we could not fully go on the long bush walks on ...

«Exactly what we needed, and really wish we'd had a whole week. It was peaceful, comfortable, with everything you'd need. We didn't realise there was even coffee to try the espresso machine! Next time... Brought my parents here as we'd stayed at the old Barrington Guest House when I was a kid. Still a beautiful area. We did the Blue Gum Track, and a whole lot of bird-watching, even seeing lyrebirds for the first time. Dungog is worth a visit - a small community-focused town. Hopefully we'll be ...

«Was ideal for our family getaway. The house had everything we could have hoped for. A/c was lovely on the hot days, the fire pit was fabulous at night to sit around and toast marshmallows and chat. «The house is huge, the kitchen is fully stocked. There is a huge TV and 2 large leather lounges. The house is right next to the sheep paddock and there were twin 3 day old lambs that were absolutely gorgeous. We were disappointed to only have one interaction with the farm animals (we hoped for morning and night daily as per the guest information) but we do understand it was a busy long weekend and we have to fit in with the owners.
