«Cleaning staff could do a better job. Dried blood on the comforter, garbage bag left outside our patio door, we were never told they didn’t service the rooms so no fresh towels for three days. Breakfast was your typical fare bagged eggs,,waffles and yogurt. They did however have homemade cinnamon rolls. Shower looks pretty new but it had rust on it. Don’t stay by the breakfast room. Super noisy.»

«The room smelled moldy. We booked the room through Expedia but when we checked in the hotel wanted an additional $30 with no explanation for the additional cost. We were tired from driving all day so just paid it. The TV in our room did work. The staff attempted to fix the tv but were unsuccessful. They reluctantly moved us to a different room but we had to insist. The coffee served in the lobby was obviously instant coffee and the free breakfast was OK.»

«This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. «No fresh food for four days. No counter service. Bed was ok, but no king size beds. Toilet did not fully flush. Sink cabinetry cracked. Toilet size for children. Room wall light did not work. Window curtain broken. No motel signage. Property not suited for general public. Smells bad. This motel needs to be bulldozed.»

«This property is a step back in time. The main floor is remodeled very nicely. The basement where the washer and dryer are has a room that feels like the 1960's. It has a radio and bar that are from the old days and is pretty cool. The 2nd floor where the bedrooms is definitely a step back in time. The woodwork and furniture is very dark. The paint is very dark. There were no nightstands in any of the rooms which made it hard for me as I use a cpap machine. The bathroom is again from ...

«Great house, lovely quiet area. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the pretty view. Very quick response from host. Only complaint is that several of the beds were pretty hard and uncomfortable. »

«We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and watching the farm animals. The WRC fishing was a bit disappointing, but there was an area fishing derby the morning we arrived, so they might have been a bit timid. The house was very neat and felt very homey. The kitchen was nice, although there was a sign posted about not longer providing breakfast supplies starting in 2021. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will most likely come back in the future.»
