«This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. «We had an amazing time. If you want a place secluded with activities to keep you busy this is the place. Very clean and a lot of hang out space. Plenty of bathrooms which is always great with group of people. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay near the area.»

«The house itself is a lovely older home that has had extensive renovation on the first level. It would be the perfect place for an indoor reception or family gathering. The upstairs bedrooms are spartan (no night stands or lamps) but it was just the two of us and it worked fine. We did not use the downstairs rec room but we did use the laundry facilities. The host was very responsive and our only issue was the AC was set lower (too cold) than we liked. We would stay here again.»

«Under new management. He’s been working hard to get a rundown motel cleaned up. Still has a long way to go.
My friend said his sheets had dirt and hair. My room was clean, except for the Smokey smell, that manager sprayed a deodorizer that helped. »
