«I have been here many times over the years, with the last visit being several years ago. It has been outdated for some time (which is just aesthetic and does not really bother me) but this time the maintenance and cleanliness have gone out the door. «The parking lot was completely empty, that should have been my first sign. Key card didn't work, TV had no channel signals, the whole place smelled damp. I did not stay, oof course I lost my money, but it was worth it just to get out of there. They need to have a notice before booking that there is no TV reception.»

«Mahoning Inn is conveniently located near the resort areas of Jim Thorpe and other Pocono outdoor activities. Given its lower cost of overnight accommodation and less congestion around the property, I would recommend it for a short stay. The Inn was well maintained and clean both inside and out. We felt very safe and our needs were met with their amenities. The only downside was that the price Expedia quoted me was not the price I was charged at the front desk.»

«The hosts were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The house is located on a very busy and loud road, and the car noise is very prominent. We stayed in the front bedroom so the noise was really bad. The room (La Botanica) was very small. There was no room to set up a suitcase or to move around the bed. The bathroom shower was tiny. As nice as the breakfast was and the hostess, we won't return.»

The house has everything you need: extra linens, dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaner, pots + pans, cups, etc. The beach was right down the road, and the stay came with 6 complimentary passes to Boulder Lake Club.
