«Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy a stay at the Casa Grande. There is no road to the place, i.e. they have to pick you up by boat. I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. If you can book this place in the morning for the evening, the resort must respond, otherwise ...

«Excelente lugar para disfrutar de la naturaleza. Sus propietarios son muy amables, en especial Tim, quien nos recibió personalmente junto a su perro Coco. Las habitaciones son cabañas acogedoras, con vistas increíbles a las montañas y al volcán Turrialba desde algunos puntos. La comida muy rica, fresca, bien preparada con amor. Recomiendo el lugar para personas que deseen descansar rodeadas de la verde montaña.»

«Location was perfect for spotting birds and doing short (10-30 minutes) drives to other good birding locations. We booked the room with balcony. The room was clean and the bed was good. Patrica is the lady that manages everything. She also cooked great meals for us. So please order the lunch and dinner also there. We are very happy and enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended!»
