«This is a funky little place where you actually check in at the BP gas station next door! The people were great, and ice was available to purchase. We were actually a tiny bit disappointed that they had done away with the striped bedspreads pictured and "upgraded" to the white duvets you find everywhere else, but that was just for nostalgia's sake. For dinner we drove to the excellent Wooden Tie Cafe, just a couple miles away.»

Luxurious touches like 2 fireplaces, a rain head shower/steamer, and an extremely comfortable king-size bed left us feeling pampered in this cozy cabin. «My friends and I were blown away by this property. Large space, plenty of bedrooms and beds. I went with a group of 12 adults & nobody needed to share a bed. The beach is well-maintained and secluded, lots of privacy. Plenty of activities indoor & outdoor, this is a great place for a family trip, or an adult-only trip. The host really thought of everything, well-stocked with disposable plates/utensils, even had a fan pointing at the main door to mininize bugs flying in. I highly recommend The ...

«Room was clean. No carpet. Breakfastast was well prepared at 6 am. Toilet wouldn't flush and mo one answers the front desk. Had to go ask for a plunger myself and take care of it. This is a motel not a hotel.»

«Comfortable rooms and beds. Pool temperature is perfect! Great breakfast options. You have to ring the bell on day shift to get a person behind the counter but they do respond promptly. The flavored creamer at the coffee bar needed to be restocked. Overall a wonderful stay!»

«The room was clean and bed was comfortable for a quick one night stop before we headed home. Decor was a littke outdated but the price was right. Only complaint is that I searched for a room to sleep 5 and booked this one thinking there was a couch which it didn't have. Roll away cot was also advertised but they only had 1 and it was already in use. Thankfully we had brought an air mattress so it all worked out.»

«The room was clean, quiet and fully stocked. Future tenants need to be prepared to go up 2 flights of stairs and the toilet is child height. The bed could be larger and more comfortable. Other than that the stay was enjoyable.»

It is stated in the listing but know there are alot of stairs for this property and the one above. If your knees can handle it, it is worth it. One thing otherd may want to know.
