«Mallard House was perfect for a little family getaway.. It’s been updated recently and was super clean. Best part of the weekend was relaxing and watching the water through the wall of windows in the sunroom with morning coffee. Kitchen is stocked with the basics and the owners were kind enough to leave some microwave popcorn. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were stocked with soap. Shampoo & conditioner. Their regular coffee maker had recently broken but there is a kuerig. Plenty of games & ...

«The property was top notch. The pictures don’t do it justice. We had 8 adults who slept in the property and 2 that stayed in an RV with their teenagers in the circle drive. There was plenty of room for our other 4 cars in the driveway, and my sister and her family could have stayed in the house with us but they were traveling through and decided to just stay in their RV. There was so much to do for everyone! We enjoyed the outside games by the grill and Blackstone while watching football ...

«Secluded and quiet but close enough to get to either Shreveport or Ruston. We rode up Hwy 519 to check Lake Claiborne and Homer. Then back down to Minden. Very scenic.»

«It's one of the newer hotels in Ruston and yet my room had significant water damage to the ceiling. I'm from the area and come back 5-6 times a year. Typically staying at the Holiday Inn. Very disappointed no one has reached out to me after requesting mamager comtact me. »

«AC worked well.parking was well lit. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was polite. »

«They gave me a smoking room. I thought I booked a nonsmoking room???»

«We checked in late at night and they claimed their cc machine was not working. They made us pay $100 incidental fee in cash. We had no option. In the morning they added "extra" fees to our stay and refused to give us back our entire cash deposit. Very disappointing and criminal. The room conditions were just terrible.»

«Yes we were extremely comfortable in the room, the air conditioning was great! The staff was beyond polite! Parking was well lit and very convenient. »
