«The cabin is beautifully situated and looks just like the pictures. It was quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay. We brought a kayak and had a great time on the Chowan River where we saw 4 bald eagles. The cabin is very comfortable with all the kitchen items you would need. The bathroom and shower were clean. «WOW! What a wonderful place to spend time with family. The cottage was clean, very comfortable, well stocked and exactly as described. Evenings on the patio allowed us to enjoy the quiet neighborhood and watch the stars come out at night. Our dog Roscoe loved the location as well. We couldn't have more pleased with our stay. «Great for a family with kids. Decor was cute. The owner was easy to communicate with and very thoughtful which is always appreciated when travel with young kids. We could not get the firestick to work but a computer was just as good with good wifi service. Would stay again!»

«The house was wonderful, right on the Abermarle Sound , with the Chowan River as one of its tributaries. So if you’re a fisherman like me, this spot is incredible for catfish, skate and crabs galore. I caught some of the biggest crabs I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’ve been crabbing 50 years. Almost all of the neighbors were enjoying life on the water, fishing, swimming or just watching the incredible sunset every night .
