«There was constant flooding in the hall between our wing to the main hall due to rolling thunderstorms. The gorge hike is disappointing - it’s only 0.68 miles because a stair bridge is broken so the guide stalls with nature talks because if you were to actually hike it, it would take less than 20 minutes to reach the broken stair bridge. «The Tannery is beautiful, well cared for, and looks exactly like the pictures. The warm spring in the back is phenomenal, as are both of the huge porches, one of which is a sleeping porch.The only thing that could have made our stay better would be more comfortable furniture. The bed was very hard and we didn't sleep well either of the nights. The couches and chairs are also very uncomfortable to the point where we really couldn't hang out in the family room. «We (husband and I) really enjoyed our stay here. It really is quiet and private. It was very clean. Easy checkin and communication. Internet speed is very fast. The grill was great. Fire pit was also nice to have. We hope to stay here again. It would be lovely to have a memory foam bed topper available to those who don't like hard beds. : )»

«The check-in process was very simple. The directions to the location were excellent. We make all of our own meals and did not find anything lacking in the kitchen. The place was neat and had a very comfortable chair and couch in the living room. We would definitely stay there again. My one comment would be to check the water pressure in the shower.»
