«The rooms were clean and neat. Great shower pressure. I was well pleased with the room. The resturant would have Dave Ramesy's head spinning. I ordered walleye, baked potato and vegtable. The fish was full of bones and had no seasoning at all. The potato was cold and dried out and the peas were not completely cooked and were cold also. «We absolutely loved this cabin. We needed this getaway. And it was absolutely perfect. The view was incredible and we even had an eagle land in one of the trees about 30 ft away from us and we got to watch it fish. The cabin itself was just what we were looking for something small and cozy and the fireplace was amazing to have. We will definitely be coming back again. As We didn’t want to leave»

«My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only ...

«Found these cottages by chance & we’re so grateful. It seemed that EVERY other place was booked; required multiple night stays, or would not allow pets. Our request was granted promptly thru VRBO, as usual. Admittedly, it was strange not having a hotel clerk to admit us, but we were used to it w VRBO.
