«Small hotel close to downtown Atchison. Needed renovation, which present owner has started, and newly renovated room was quite all right. A few practical / technical matters were taken well care of by the owner - in a friendly and quick way. No meals available, but guests may receive discount coupon for breakfast at one of the local restaurants. New owners are a friendly family, who seemed determined to make this a nice place to stay. «The Franklin House is a great place to stay. Located close to downtown and has several nice amenities. Even though the house is over 100 years old, several updates were down to the home to make it very cozy. Would recommend the house to anyone. »

«This is a very cute house. Very clean. It is extremely remote though. Everything is 45 minutes away. Definitely keep that in mind if you are planning to stay here. The host must be someone who manages several properties because the instructions to leave didn’t match the house and they also did not respond when we asked about storing our dirtbike. Overall a good stay though!»

«What a unique place. Great home and I loved the book detailing the renovations. Our entire group enjoyed the peaceful experience. One huge plus was the kids were outside exploring and not on their phones. We chose this place since it was close to Snow Creek. Our group enjoyed the skiing and have already talked about doing this again. I will definitely book this place for our next trip.»
