«A very large and busy hotel on lake Akan. The staff and main parts of the hotel are all ok but our room was in desperate need of an update. The bathroom was tiny with signs of damp and age.The sheets etc were clean but the room also had a smell like stale cigarettes. We had read the reviews and were kind of expecting it but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay there more than the one night. However, the staff were all helpful and the breakfast buffet very good.»

«Nice, spacious and clean room. Courteous staff.»

«The hotel was absolutely fantastic! We were greeting outside the hotel, they carried our bags to our room and we were asked to relax with some tea and creme brulee. The meals were excellent and so tasty, a huge experience. Everything was perfect!»

«Hotel looking old»

«It is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the Lake Akan area, the hotel grounds, the dining, and the service. The onsen pools were very relaxing.»
