«My wife and I stayed for a weekend in the Bourbon Barrel Cottages. It was such an excellent experience. The owners had fantastic communication. It was super easy to check-in and out.Our cottage was extremely clean and modern. The hot tub and fire pit we're in great condition.There is easy access to all the local restaurants, wineries, and distilleries with only a quick 20 minute drive.We did not do a tour, but I imagine it would be a great experience if it went as well as the rest of our ...

«Cute cottage tucked away on a quiet lake. Multiple distilleries and horse farms within easy driving distance. House was clean and had all we needed, but bring firewood and charcoal for the grill. Host was responsive to any questions or concerns. Tip for those with kids or guests who prefer privacy, two of the beds are in the open area at the top of the stairs between bedrooms. We had a comfy stay and would recommend. »

«We had issues with the hot tub and lack of firewood, promised by the host. The host resolved those issues immediately. The only problem I had was when he suggested we call VRBO and find another place to stay, while we all were in the house! That was very disturbing that he suggested that to me. and twice at that! All because he was frustrated as was I. We got past it, but it really upset me that he would tell me that. Overall, the home was beautiful and very clean and accommodating .»

Beauty of the rental unit itself and the view of the Courthouse (made famous in a sixties Hollywood production, "The Flim Flam Man). A part of Kentucky you might drive through bit rarely drive to. Really glad I took the time to do so in this lovely and welcoming stopping point on the Bourbon Trail.»
