«This hotel is brand new! Everything was SQUEAKY clean and the bathrooms are very modern and updated! Not the usual bathrooms you see at this price point or with this brand. The staff was wonderful also and Aldi is within walking distance which made stocking up snacks very easy! Very convenient location to the rest of downtown Alpena also - places like Walmart, Meijer, Applebee's etc were just within a few miles. Highly recommend!»

«The host provided welcome treats for us and a toy for our dog. We felt very welcome. We had all the supplies we would ever need as well as robes for using the spa. The spa was warm and ready for us, no warm up time needed which normally can take many hours. Temperature controls worked great. »

«What a fabulous surprise after a long day’s drive. Ashley, the owner, greeted us with a huge welcoming smile. She had her staff assist with luggage without us asking. Two days before we arrived she called to make sure we had dinner reservations for the holiday weekend. A real class act. »

«If you really want to get away from it all, this is the place. Gorgeous and very comfortable log home. Situated amongst the pines, away from the main road and steps from the beach. We truly appreciated the serenity, privacy, and nature!! Lots of snow, but road and driveway were always plowed, making it so easy for us to drive 10-15 min into town for food/groceries. We loved trekking around the property and beach with our dog Luna- she had so much fun! Strong WiFi, even during heavy snow/wind. ...

«We were extremely pleased with our stay. Clean with great amenities. We were concerned about being cold on this oh so frigid weekend. Never a worry. This home is warm, cozy and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure and good hot water. Scott was fantastic to communicate with and responding within minutes to all correspondence. This home will stay on our radar for future trips to this area. Thank you for opening your home up to us.»

«We stayed at the cabin mostly just for nights to have a peaceful night sleep with the kids. We were in MI for a small reunion at the family hunting camp. The cabin was perfect for chill time and relaxing looking out at the snow covered trees. »
