«This is a very old mom and pop motel that has been updated. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Laminate flooring...no nasty carpet. The bathroom/shower is very clean but very outdated but functional. Big Bear Lodge is a motel, central to several parks, shopping and restaurants. If you want a room with coffee, fridge,microwave and air conditioning, central to parks and restaurants this would be a good motel for your next stay.»

«Cute little two bedroom house with full kitchen and a working bbq grill in the backyard. Comfortable couch and recliners in the living room so we could binge old shows on the Roku TV. Disappointed the washing machine is currently out of order, but the dryer works so we were able to just wash our clothes at a laundromat and bring them back to dry. «Host is not pet friendly and charges an additional fee in cash when you arrive and 2 days after departure and someone else is in property I’m charged for broken furniture that wasn’t broken and or dirty when we departed if there was any issues it should have ben informed to us that day waterfront is more like a overgrown ditch don’t recommend properly or host»

«The cabin looked beautiful in pictures and in description, however, in person, some things stood out as difficult to tolerate: moldy bathroom that smelled strongly of urine. There was a large area rug on the floor in front of the shower, and when it got damp, the smell became unbearable. The water knobs for the shower barely turned, the shower was very small and dirty. «The cabin was very clean and cozy, with all the amenities that we needed. It was a great place for my family to stay for the weekend with enough space to have visitors and to kick back and relax. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, home away from home getaway.»

«The property is everything and more. We enjoyed some quiet moments siting in the swivel chairs and couch overlooking the lake. I loved the welcoming big interior living area where we could all be together.. The big porch pretty much has shade all day as does the sit swing down by the water.»

«This would be a 5-star review if the property had WIFI and AC. In this day and age, those should be standard amenities. As far as the lack of AC goes, we were very lucky; the temps were only in the low 80s during the day, and thankfully fell to the 60's at night. Had we stayed a week earlier, I don't think we would have been able to bear it. The property itself is quite nice. Very clean and tidy. The proximity to all kinds of walkable locations is very handy.
