«The hotel was just beautiful inside and out, but I do not like the location where it was at in the middle of a neighborhood in front of a park with a skate ramp. People hanging out at the skate ramp people coming and going in and out of the park, I didn’t care for that. No I would not stay there again. I would go back to Tawas Bay resort .»

«The place is not kept up at all. Overgrown lawn and bushes. The furniture is old from garage sales or by the road. Not in good shape. We had no heat. So had to change rooms. Then at next cabin the tv didn’t work. The beds were nothing but squeaking. It was a horrible experience.»

«Great place in Mio»

«We came to see our grandchildren for the night. Unfortunately we were unable to stay longer. But we will definitely be coming back. John made check-in and out very easy. Cabi. Was very clean and location was beautiful!»

«This is a nice inn. The rooms are on the second floor and you must access by steps. The first floor is a restaurant, shop and office. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pastries, left right at your door. They were excellent. The key to our room was left for us. We never saw any staff - but there really was no need. I would stay here again if I return to this area.»

«We stayed in the Garden Cottage for a week and cannot recommend it for longer stays. While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. Our issues started at check-in when our entry code failed, and no one answered the phone, forcing us to communicate solely via text. Upon entry, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana, the bedroom closet door was broken, and a ceiling fan blade was hanging ...

«Checking in was a little difficult since I arrived late and it was already dark. There wasn’t a clear indication of where I needed to go, but the host referred me to Jeff, who was fantastic. He was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area — he alone deserves a star! The stay itself was okay. The area was beautiful, and the community was very friendly. The place has a lot of potential, but I think it could really benefit from a deep clean and some minor renovations. When I first ...

«I sent my parents up here while we stayed at old Orchard campground. They loved it. We will be back.»

«Absolutely a great place to say. We had so much fun. The cabin was very clean and freshly remodeled. We will definitely be staying here again.»

«I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a ...

«I always enjoy my stay at Lazy Fish, the location and view can't be beat and I love that bringing the dog along is an option there. Tim and Nancy are great with communication and were helpful when we left charcoal for the grill at home. The cabins are older but I can see the updates every year. It has everything needed for a short stay in this unit.»

«Cute little two bedroom house with full kitchen and a working bbq grill in the backyard. Comfortable couch and recliners in the living room so we could binge old shows on the Roku TV. Disappointed the washing machine is currently out of order, but the dryer works so we were able to just wash our clothes at a laundromat and bring them back to dry. Not much water pressure in the shower, probably on a well or something. This was a nice place to kick back for a short break on our road trip, and ...

«The room was exceptionally clean, and having all the necessary camping supplies provided by the hosts made our stay perfect. I highly recommend this spot to everyone!»

«Very nice place. Had a great time. Very private and well kept.»
