«Reserva Amazonica is a beautiful property located 40mins by bost from Puerto Maldonado. We spent 2 nights there and generally had a good experience. The lodges are beautiful, clean and well equipped and staff is really nice and attentive. The nature surrounding the hotel is beautiful and there are some small animals / birds that can be found on property. The included excursions are interesting (we mostly enjoyed the canopy walk and lake Sandoval). Unfortunately, we were there during a cold spell ...

«My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. «This was our first time staying at an "off-grid" hotel, and it was very pleasant. It i a difficult place to get to, requires a cr and a boat ride from the airport, which was included in the price of the stay. Bring lots of mosquito repellent. All meals are included and are really delicious, and there is unlimited coffee and tea and a lovely outdoor lounge with hammocks and internet above the lobby. «Our experience was amazing! This was an experience that I have always dreamed about. The guides for the excursions were the best. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. «It was Noisy, But all of Rurrenebaque is Noisy, There is probably no way to get a quiet room in this town It is a family run property, they do a good job of taking care of you and the breakfast is very good with Fresh Fruit and Eggs per your request. Only problem is one night we were locked out, but were finally able to call the owner to let us in. »
