Ratingen

«The place is nicely maintained, the location in Ratingen is convenient, they have plenty of hotel parking -for a fee. Rooms are ok in size (not too much space, though) and very clean, everything works well, coffee / tea and kettle are in the room. The front staff is friendly and helpful! They have a very nice restaurant with decent food and great staff, and the breakfast choices / quality are good, though a little pricy! Overall a good experience, a hotel I would use again if in the area.»

Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf – Hauptbahnhof by IHG

10/10 Utmerket

"Fint hotell , rent og pent :) Litt skummelt å få hit fra u-banen på kvelden for jentene.."

Premier Inn Duisburg City Altstadt

10/10 Utmerket

"Stayed here for one night during a road trip. The hotel feels very new, probably less than a year old, and everything was modern, clean, and well maintained. The room rate was very reasonable, making it excellent value for money. The mall next to the hotel has been redeveloped into a wellness center with clinics and a gym, so there is very little shopping there. If you’re looking for shops and restaurants, there is a large shopping mall about a 10-minute walk away. Underground parking is available for £15. The parking spaces are a decent size, but the driving lanes are very narrow. It is impossible for two vehicles to pass each other, so one vehicle would need to reverse to let the other through. We stayed in a standard family room, which was comfortable and clean. There was no refrigerator in the room. The TV offered a good selection of channels, but it did not appear to be a smart TV. The only issue was the air conditioning. The room became quite warm overnight, and although there was a touchscreen thermostat, it didn’t respond, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature. We ended up opening the window to cool the room down. Breakfast costs extra but was good, and the 24-hour reception is convenient for late arrivals."
