5 minute drive north of Blenheim. You get free samples as you walk in and you can see them making chocolate in the open kitchen. Definitely worth stopping. Very berry crunch and macadamia brittle are the best!
When you're suffering from "Wine Fatigue" this is the best place for you. Great beer tasting, you can sit inside if it's chilly, or outside in the gardens if it's a great day.

I love this sign. Not only because it's funny but also because there is some deep meaning in it too. :) Sometimes, we have different perceptions about things. We may understand things differently - we may see the world with different eyes to how others see it. Instead of embracing 'difference', we ridicule it. We try to control people in our lives to conform to the way we see things. We humans tend to do this especially in close relationships. What if you acknowledged that people are simply different sometimes? That they have a different idea about life? That they don't have an interest to be like you? Remember: you cannot control others - at least not for long. You can only work on yourself. You can't change others. You may offer support, encouragement and give some advice, if asked, but you can't change the world by changing others. YOU can change, however. What if we all started embracing 'difference'? What if we all let each other live the way they damn please? Who are YOU to judge how someone lives their lives? Take off those glasses you're wearing once in a while and try to see things from the other person's point of view. They squeezed us in when all flights to Wellington were cancelled due to inclimate weather. Ultra accommodating. Delightful hosts, super clean room, very welcoming. Our stay could not have been better. Absolute highest recommendation.
