The owners are a charming couple who are also bilingual in French and English. The property and gardens are absolutely lovely and peaceful. »

«Amazing stay at this beautiful chateau - the owners were so thoughtful and service-minded. We were blown away by how beautiful the property and the room was. Lovely breakfast and location. Short walking-distance to Saumur and also lots of nice wine-producing chateaus nearby to visit for tastings. Would definitely come back! »

«Placed just across railroad station and down to the right before you start on the last bridge to center. Not many parking places in the street, but we were allowed to park in the backyard. Maintenance going on at the railroad station so some noise from 07:00 if you get room on that side. Hotel need some maintenance, but that did not influenced our stay. Relativly cheap stay, but you pay extra for breakfast. No cooling of , at least, our room, and we opened windows in the evening , but that ended ...

«Beautiful chateaux with friendly owner. The chateaux is huge with very few rooms. Given the oldest part was built in 1115, you can expect that it is as clean as a modern 5 star hotel. Nevertheless, the bed is comfortable and the property has character. I would highly recommend staying there for the experience. BTW, the breakfast is also excellent with fresh squeezed apple juice from the property.»
