I formally request a full refund regarding our recent stay, as the experience did not meet the expectations set at the time of booking.
We specifically selected this hotel based on the understanding that the Acorn Drop view would be easily accessible—ideally a walk-out experience from the hotel, with nearby restaurants and New Year’s Eve festivities within close proximity. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The location and view did not align with what was represented, and the overall experience fell well short of what we believed we had booked.
We were very much looking forward to celebrating New Year’s Eve together—enjoying drinks, dining nearby, and taking part in the Acorn Drop festivities. Instead, the evening was frustrating and disappointing, especially given the anticipation and significance of the occasion.
Additionally, our stay was further disrupted by excessive noise. A dog barked uncontrollably for approximately 45 minutes, and we could clearly hear people talking between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m., making it extremely difficult to rest.
Given the misrepresentation of the view and location, combined with the noise disturbances that significantly impacted our stay, I believe a full refund was appropriate because it affected our visit and because I spoke directly to the hotel. Hyatt claimed that they never guarantee a view. Never ever again!!
