This house is the perfect rental for a family! We have kept children and babies in mind in our decorating and features, and the location can`t be beat for raising kids. There are tons of parks, trails, and free family activities within minutes of our home. Fenced in backyard with playset great for kids or pets. 15 minutes from RDU, 15-20 minutes to downtown, 7 minutes to North Hills/Crabtree Malls, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby without the hassle of noise and parking downtown.

You are welcome to the whole house! We have two sheds in the backyard that we’d rather keep off limits, but we don’t think you’d want to use them anyways.

We are local to the area and are available to answer questions as needed but will leave you to enjoy your privacy.

The house is located in a very typical North Raleigh family neighborhood. Lots of trees! We’re close to anything you’d expect to be near in a family neighborhood including parks, restaurants, and shopping.

Raleigh does not have a great public transportation system. We recommend having a car to get around.

$400 flat fee for up to two pets to cover deep clean and carpet/upholstery cleaning. $200/pet for each additional pet above 2.

House Rules
No smoking in the house or anywhere on the property. The smell travels and sets indoors.
No parties or events, please respect the neighbors
No fires in the fireplace
No pets on the furniture or beds
Please let us know about any additional guests not on the original reservation. We are pretty understanding and accommodating, we just like to know who is staying at the property.
No illegal drugs

Stains/Spills/Messes/Dings/Holes/Broken Furniture/Etc.
Please let us know about any of these. We are VERY understanding (we’ve got 4 young kids ourselves!), but it helps us know where the issue is and what to use on it in order to get it properly cleaned/fixed and ready for the next guest. When guests hide issues however, it becomes difficult to get the house ready for the next group coming in.

Trash
The trash bin is on the side of the house. The blue is recycling, green is trash. Garbage truck comes Tuesdays, and we ask that if you are staying in the home Monday nights, you try and put it out so we don`t get backed up. Recycling is every other week, so if you`re putting it out just take a look at the neighbors to see if they`ve got their cans out or not.

Laundry
For the washing machine, just dump whatever detergent you are using (powder or liquid) in the bottom of the basin, select your wash cycle and temperature, and press the start button. The dryer is pretty straightforward, just remember to clean the lint trap!

Checkout
When you’re ready to leave, if you could please leave the bedding on the bed, and all towels, washrags, hand towels and bathmats on the floor in front of the washing machine. Clean all your dishes and put them away. DO NOT PUT DIRTY DISHES BACK IN THE CUPBOARDS. You will be charged $50 for not properly cleaning and putting away dishes. Please take out the trash from the house to the outside can and throw away any food in the fridge or pantry. If you are checking out Monday, please take the garbage can to the curb.
