The only good thing about our experience was check in and location. Front desk staff were less than friendly. Nor were they helpful. We got in at 7 at night with the understanding that there was a restaurant onsite. Well. The restaurant was temporarily closed for the duration of our stay and the dining room was reservation only. We couldn't find restaurant staff and the front desk staff were annoyed we asked for assistance. We had to go offsite for food in a location that is small and remote.
There was no microwave in the hotel room. With no microwave or accessible food options, eating was tough.
Some of the pillows and sheets were stained with what appeared to be makeup. The bed had a cardboard type blanket laying as a base layer under the sheet but neither were fitted nor secured to the mattress itself. This was very uncomfortable.
When asking for housekeeping (it's not regularly offered) we asked for trash out and coffee supplies to be replenished. Well. There are four of us and we got three of everything.
The women's sauna was out, game room under construction and there were no robes for walking across the lawn in cold temps to and from the pool.
For $700 for a 3 night stay, the only good thing about this place was the location. We canceled our family gathering here this summer and will not be returning.
