«Hotellet er slitent, det er langt over vedlikeholdsetterslep. Det trenger full sanering fra topp til tå. Det var så mye støv på rommet, det lå lag på alle møbler. Og det var flekker på teppet og sofa. Det var så ille med støv, at selv vi som ikke er astmatikere eller har lungesykdom syns det var ille. Inngangsdøren var duck teipet sammen og det var skader på skap og dører. Bildene på bookingen så ikke helt krise ut men virkeligheten er mye mer slitt og gammelt. Puss opp eller steng ...

«I had an amazing stay here during my five-week Oceania trip. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline). «The staff were incredibly helpful. One of them, in Picton before we got on the ferry, told us how to see the bioluminescence, which was fantastic. The young man who took us around to feed the animals and the marine biologist who told us about the marine life on the viewing platform were incredibly knowledgable. The room was pretty and we had a good view if we sat outside. We also loved the hammocks and the glow worms.»
