Overall, this resort experience has some positives but the negatives ultimately would not have me return to this resort again in the future.
Positives: Resort is well-maintained and the resort rooms were nice. Our housekeeping staff did a great job each day keeping our room clean and stocked. Beach is nice and all the drinks we had by the pool were all great
Negatives: Check-in experience was rushed and overwhelming. The staff spent more time talking about upgrading to their rewards program rather than giving us orientation of resort, food options and their hours of operation, or activities on the property. Our assigned butler made reservations for us but there were issues with availability and even knowing what options we had to choose from. We felt pressured to make reservations immediately before we had a chance to even unpack as there was concern our party of 7 would not be able to eat together.
Unfortunately, majority of the food options are poor and fall into the stereotypical resort food cliche. The buffet options during the day were overall okay but it was hard initially to know what times they were open. Our favorite restaurants were the French and Japanese restaurant.
There was also a lot of soliciting happening on the resort including being hounded in the pool each day by photographers. As we were waiting to depart on our final day we were asked by multiple staff to fill out surveys with 5 stars only.
