Disgusting rooms and a terrible experience overall. I had to ask multiple times how to check in after hours since the front desk is only open during the day. I paid for a room with a balcony but was first given one without it. The windows didn’t close properly and the AC had a broken flap that rattled all night so we couldn’t sleep. Everything was rusty, moldy, or broken.
When the door handle broke off and locked us out, I demanded the balcony room I paid for. Unfortunately the second room was even worse. The rusty fridge leaked water onto the floor and my toddler slipped on it. The freezer door was broken off. Both rooms had no hot water and the shower heads were barely attached with one screw.
Half the lights didn’t work or flickered constantly. The coffee maker was dirty and smelled like mold, and there were no filters, coffee, or even bottled water even though the tap water isn’t safe to drink. The kitchen dishes were a random mix and many were dirty. We also saw cockroaches.
Staff were dishonest. I tipped cleaning staff to clean sand from the room and they took the tip but never cleaned it once in the week we were there. The toilet kept clogging and maintenance tried to unclog it with a toilet brush. To top it off, my phone was stolen from the room by staff (it was locked)
Avoid this place.
