My friend had her Apple Watch stolen right next to one of the resort pools. She tracked the location and it was a few miles away so it seems to have been an employee who took it, since it left the resort.
The casino had unnecessary fees, you had to pay for water and the normally free beers you got in your fridge each day. It’s as if they didn’t want you to gamble. It depended on the day for staff friendliness. Housekeeping was great but the trolly staff was not. One trolly driver told us just to walk to the lobby and another night the trolly driver told us it was “his last trip of the night and his last tip” we were the only ones on the trolly and do usually tip… but he was guilting us to tip by telling us he has multiple children and grandchildren. It just made us feel guilty and forced to tip. The trolly was supposed to be an efficient way to get around the resort since it is a huge resort, instead we ended up walking an average of 13,000 steps a day to avoid the trolly. Also my husband and I got tricked (when we first walking into the resort) into talking to a marketing person who wasted our time telling us about the new Hard Rock properties being built. At the end of the trip we literally ran away from the marketing person that wanted to sell us another hard rock vacation. Our friends got trapped first and then warned us to just check out and go to the shuttle. The resort was overall well kept, but too big for what we wanted as far as a relaxing vacation. Will not return.
