Adult only pool was good but that was the only highlight of upgrading to the preferred club. The drink service seemed to be skewed towards larger groups and not individuals. It was hard to get a drink even on the quiet times. There was practically zero drink service at the beach and you were lucky if you could get preferred club towels.
The room was an issue. The shower leaked into the room in two different places for two nights until they finally fixed it properly. The room
also smelled like mold. They did not want to move me even though I inquired and said that I needed to take an antihistamine, I am allergic to mold. This was supposed to be a room upgrade that I had paid extra for and they offered me nothing. A refund of some sort would have been nice. The drawers for clothes were also dirty and I had to clean them out in order to feel ok about putting my clothes in there.
The staff were friendly and a lot of the staff at the restaurants were excellent.
The buffet was always running out of stuff and you needed to find someone to get it refilled (we are talking guacamole and ham for the omelette station) and there was hardly ever pineapple.
The restaurants were decent.
For the price I paid and taking into consideration other all inclusive resorts of the same price, it wasn’t worth it, I was expecting more.
