Personalet ved matservering var uhøffelige og ignorerte oss. fikk aldri drikkene våres med mindre man spurte 3 ganger. Ingen kø system i resepsjonen, det var der bare kaos. Mange sinte kunder som ikke fikk rom de hadde bestilt osv. Spurte om ekstra dyne 4 dager på rad fikk den aldri. Tlf i rommet virket ikke. Bortsett fra dette var alt bra. Hotellrom Ok og ellers kjempe fin Strand og område. Hadde bare ønsket hyggeligere personale.

I made a reservation for Grand Bavaro but i had to do an upgrade to Bahia principe Luxury Esmeralda, I loved Esmeralda for being on the first line close to the beach, the things i did not like was the air conditioning not being on, on the buffet and restaurants, the buffet close to the beach did not have too many options to eat and the most of the staff was not helpful you had to ask to many times for water or drinks on the buffet.

Pro, upgraded rooms are cleaner and close to the beach. Great pool. Cons Got food poison while my 15 day stay. Wont be staying there again. Coming home they didnt allow the car service to come in and pick us up in from our resort, had to wait around until someone was available to take us into the front entrance so i can get the taxi.

Just should not be rated 5 stars! By far the worst overall all inclusive vacation I’ve ever had. From the terrible wi-fi to the hot ass rooms. What’s the point of have ac control in the room if we can’t control the non existent ac in the room? The food was complete trash and I don’t care where you got it from on that property. Only things going for this location are the pools and beach!

Comenzare por las buenas, personal amable, piscinas buenas y ahora las malas: necesita remodelacion los muebles antiguos y en mal estado. En el area del bufete moscas ademas uno de los salones de bufete apestaba horrible ademas muchos mosquitos y las camas duras como si estuvieras durmiendo en el piso. No logre descansar bien me levantaba adolorida por la dureza del colchon y los baños no estaban adecuadamente limpios tenian hongos A Bahia principe grand Bavaro no volveria

Es Muy lamentable 😞 que uno saque de su preciado y limitado tiempo para una vacaciones y llegue a un Hotel donde el area de comida ti un mal olor a aguas negras.. Pedimos un cambio de habitación porque la que le dieron a mi hermana y a mi señora madre que tiene 82 años la cual muy alegremente me lleve casi sin poder apestaba a polvo que no se podia estar y las camas undidas en definitiva no sirve Bahia príncipe gran bávaro...

La atención de los trabajadores fue la única buena. Súper amables y pendiente de las necesidades del cliente. Las habitaciones, súper viejas, sucias y olor a humedad. En el bufet mal olor a fosa desde q entras no te daban deseos de comer. En lo particular no volveré a este hotel hasta q no lo renueven.

We loved the area. The ocean and the entertainment is amazing. However, the customer service is very poor. When we went to the table to ask about our dinner reservation, the lady rolled her eyes at us....so rude! When we ask to go around the property in one of the golf cars (because they have a special one that guide you through the property) the guy said......really? You want to do that?.... and he didn't show any effort to take us. We felt not welcome! So sad, such a beautiful place but the people..... too rude. Once there, but never again!

not very pleasant experience. Stuff at the reception was rude. Room was in a bad condition, AC wasn't working, toilet and shower were broken, keys(card) to the room were not working properly.

Los millones de mosquitos en toda la propiedad, las camas son de la época de Romeo y Julieta, los baños asquerosos, los mismos empleados admiten que trabajan en condiciones infrahumanas y que deben de cerrar el hotel. Tuvimos que pagar $400 más para que nos cambiaran de hotel, fue la mejor decisión que tomamos.

Staff in general is great. Waiters , entertainment, bar tenders , etc are great. The smell in the dining room is horrible, the buffet room location is Terrible at Bavaro, we could not eat there even one day, smells as sewerage. We had to jumped into Punta Cana restaurant. Hope you can take this in consideration and they fix this ! Thank you

-Mosquitoes everywhere. I had to sleep with bug spray on as the maids leave the doors open when cleaning and they all swarm in. If you use the public restrooms you will have a swarm above your head at all times. -Beaches we're very crowded and people reserved the chairs for the whole week with their towels overnight so there wasn't anywhere to sit other than the sun. -Very poor communication. Events were cancelled and we were not notified. They have an app but the Wi-Fi is so bad on the resort you cannot access it. -They only give you 3 dinner reservations for the entire week and the rest of the meals you have to eat in the buffet which smelled like sewage water -The beds were so hard it will give you back issues. I had to use the couch cushions underneath the sheets to get a decent night's sleep -Seaweed filled beach water and beaches. You get wrapped with seaweed and it scratches your skin when you try to swim in the crowded water. -The trolleys to and from the beach average about 5 minutes which was not too bad compared to other resorts. All in all I am not sure what else I expected from a budget resort but will not come back to this one in the future.

este hotel necesita una remodelación, todo está viejo y dañado los espejos del baño de la habitación manchados de pinturas el servicio en el buffet horrible los meseros te ignoran cuando eres latino, no lo recomiendo para nada, además mucho mal olor por todo el hotel, los chicos del entretenimiento son muy buenos y gracias a ellos y a los chicos del bar en la piscina pudimos tener unas vacaciones un pocquito agradable,pero de lo demás no volvería a ese hotel.

For the most part everything was good. The buffet at the lobby was amazing. One of the showers in our suite was malfunctioning, laundry service was not all too friendly, concierge service took forever to assist you. Besides that no other complaints really.

Calls itself “All-Inclusive” but you can’t eat at any/all of their restaurants. Some are reserved for certain hotels, there’s also a rule (WHICH IS NOT ADVERTISED) that you are allowed to eat at restaurants at a 2:1, so if you stay there for 6 nights you have 3 vouchers to eat at a restaurant throughout your stay, the other 3 nights you eat at the buffet, which is good but not what I want at an all-inclusive.

La salle de bain dans la chambre à coucher est un ancien bain tourbillon mais sans tourbillon. Seulement tout l’équipement pour ce dernier a été laissé dans ce dernier; ouverture encore présente et filtre encore présent et sale. Le fond du bain est tellement grafigne qu’il fait mal au pied et évitez les bains impossible. Espace entre le mur et le bain sans silicone. Buffet au matin le service est hyper lent. Nous avions 3 assiettes sales non-récupérées et nous n’avons jamais eu d’eau pour boire. Présence de coquerelles près des tables et de l’office et sur tout le site il y avait présences de moustiques en quantité incroyable. J’ai des piqûres sur tout le corps et même dans la chambre impossible de dormir à cause des moustiques et le petit frigidaire était chaud donc les boissons présentes inbuvable. L’air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas désastre vieil hôtel non rénové depuis longtemps

La comida no fue mi parte favorita, ni la limpieza de la bañera, la habitación olía mucho a humedad. Pero La estadía en general fue buena y el servicio de parte del personal es muy bueno, muy atentos y amables. La transportación dentro del hotel fue excelente.

Some friends, my partner and I recently stayed at this resort, visiting from US. The grounds were beautiful and well groomed daily. Rooms were a little dated but overall weren’t bad. The beach was immaculate! Super clean and lots of beach chairs. The pool was great too! Very clean and not too busy. The pool bars were slow and most of the employees are not very helpful/friendly. Not all, some were quite lovely. Had it not been to getting disregarded anytime we would ask questions I would rate this place higher. Also, we did a birthday dinner on the beach. They sat us in between all the beach chairs and wasn’t much every put into that.

We were put in a whole section where it has not been renovated (so were 2 other families i traveled with) our rooms had lots of black mold all over the bathrooms, walks, anove bed, air conditioning units broken, shower heads are broken, black mold right next to mini fridgerator and solied, stained pillows and comforters!!! Yes soiled!! I took pictures of everything. Never going back! Tried callibg Expedia to tell them. No luck!! There is no actual way to tell them. I have tried every avenue. Hopefully this one works waste of money!!! Pools great! Entertainment more for kids, Entertainment by pool great.

The Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro was not the best place to stay. I’ve never been to a resort where the staff was nasty at the beach due to limited sitting they value premium members more than others at the beach. The staff did not know how to give clear directions of how to get somewhere they would say “go there”, instead of specifying. Also, my room was invaded with ants, I had to go and complain twice about phone service as the phone outlet was yanked from the wall. The food was mildly terrible either buffets I went to the food was not good. The waitress service was not the best there were times I went to eat the table that was set had no glasses for water and they would pass right by you and would not offer anything I had to constantly call them and they seem upset. Also, I went in with two phone chargers that were working before and during my stay at the hotel. The day before check out both chargers were not working I came back home to find out that the hotel had burn my outlet as I have to purchase new charges due to the inability to charge. I tested the chargers at home and didn’t work so I purchased a new one and that one started charging my phone. Overall, I have been to many resorts in different countries as well as punta cana and I’ve never experienced such bad service from the food to the staff. I would not be going back to this resort neither will I recommend it.

This was my second time visiting Bahia Principe, and I was shocked to see the decline in service and overall experience. On the first day the staff sent us to rooms that had serious issues (broken locks, no safe or AC, etc.), gave us keys to the wrong room, and ultimately wasted 5 hours of our time in which we had to drag our luggage through the heat from room to room until one finally was safe to stay in. The staff were incredibly rude and instead of giving us any compensation for our troubles, they repeatedly attempted to make us sign a contract removing any and all liability from the hotel for the entirety of the trip in exchange for a cheap 25 minute massage. After refusing to sign the form for safety reasons, guest services continued to call and come to our room attempting to intimidate us and insisting that we sign. The grounds of the property and the entertainment staff were very nice, but the service and lack of hospitality at the front desk is unforgivable. They said that if we had booked directly with the hotel rather than through Expedia we might have had better service. Loved Bahia last year but seems that management has worsened. I'm sure that they will just reply to this message with a "sorry you feel that way" and do nothing about it...

We spent a week at the Esmeralda portion of the resort. We were booked at the Grand Bavaro, but given a free upgrade. The pools at the Esmeralda were beautifully maintained and warm. The staff was friendly, rooms were nice and it’s close to the beach. The only negative was the food. It wasn’t bad, but repetitive in the buffet. We did eat at three speciality restaurants. The Italian was terrible, but Yurta and Makado were both good and fun. People that went to other resorts also mentioned the food wasn’t great.
