«Our stay here was twofold. One: quality time together and Two: a tryout for the young dogs in a boarding kennel not far away. The last night the dogs stayed with us. The bach was awesome. Very well laid out and complete. If anything, we couldn’t find any ice cube trays so our G&T was a bit make do. For the rest just great. Hear the moreporks at night, swim in the river at Pots Reserve. Best kept secret: Kuku Beach. Don’t go there folks to keep it a secret 😁»

«We stayed here for a wedding across the state Highway at The Milk Station. It was amazing. Fire wood was provided and fully stocked which heated the main areas so well. There was extra bedding, 3 bedrooms, heaps of space in-doors and out-doors, and toys for my 6 month old and my nephew and nieces to visit. «The house is full of character and very comfy especially beds , certainly not new but it has all you need and a great deck overlooking the beach (rare thing in Waikanae!! ) House was a bit musty when we arrived but it aired out quickly - all the provisions and utensils are there and the heat pump worked very nicely to keep us warm . «We had a nice stay at this property - the spa, feijoa trees and fireplace were awesome! The beds and rest of the house were comfortable. Place is 10mins walk to the beach which was lovely. The only negative is that the lounge doesn’t get much sun or natural light, but the fireplace made it warm enough.
