The staff was amazing! The food was not great, the rooms were very dated and not nearly what they look like in the pictures. There was construction happening on our floor and we were walked into 3 days in a row without a knock to let us know that someone was coming in and they were doing this early in the mornings. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. The staff was great in so many ways and that is where I feel bad for not wanting to return but the lack of feeling like I have privacy and ability to take a shower without the worry of someone walking in or having to lock the door at all times is unacceptable. This was not a cheap hotel and the lack of consideration for the guests was crazy. The way the reservations are also set up is wild. If you want to do anything on the resort you have to wake up early on your vacation and hope that you can get into the restaurants or get a spot at the pool or beach. There is also almost no options for breakfast or lunch on site. Hectors cafe up the road - 10/10 for food, service and coffee! Would go back to this area of town, would never stay there again.
