I was annoyed with the service right from the start. We tried checking in at 2:30 but our room wasn’t available until 3:15 so we had to sit and wait. We were not allowed to use the pool as we did t have our wristbands yet and even though we would be booked in that day. Then finally, 3:15, we get our room. The room looked great to begin with but after my husband showered, the whole floor flooded as the drain was plugged. The water went up our bedsheets and the entire bedroom floor was a wet mess. Under the bed was dirt and used slippers. The safe in the bedroom did not work either. We had friends that were flown in early but had to stay at a hotel across the street. We wanted our daughters friend to stay with us but she was not allowed, as no wristband but they were checking in the next day? Few days later, my son’s wristband was torn off on the rocks in the ocean and when we went to get a new one, they wanted 500pesos? For plastic? Heck no. Only two out of the four restaurants, that you had to book 3 days in advance were actually good. The one wouldn’t let us in until our whole party was there. One child was in the washroom and they would not sit us until he was there. If he wasn’t back in 10 minutes, we would lose our reservation even though half the tables were empty. We tried to get an extra seat one night for a friend that was on the resort and they said no, although half the tables were empty. Not very accommodating with anything basically.
