"The breakfast is good. Not fantastic, but more than sufficient. But the view from the outside tables makes it excellent. We couldn’t get enough of it.
Service is absolutely excellent. You get a feeling they’re genuinely respectful and friendly, and really can’t do enough for you. It’s not so much in other places. We’re in El Nido now, and it is definitely not the same.
The area is also less touristy than El Nido. It’s a small village just a couple hundred meters from the hotel, with mom and pop restaurants who serve cheap and very good local cuisine. Try the pork sisig. It’s amazing.
It’s also highly recommended to go there and buy beer or wine to enjoy on the beach or your room instead of at the hotel. It’s less than half the price, and better selection.
The pool is amazing. If I should find something to complain about, it would be it’s a bit too hot and not deep enough. But that doesn’t matter. The ocean is perfect if you need to cool down.
The Underground River is mesmerizing. Absolutely worth the money!
All in all; you get a lot for your money, less people and more authentic than El Nido. I can highly recommend this place.
Worth knowing: it’s at a dead end, so if you want to go to El Nido, you will have to backtrack 45 mins and change van at Salvacion. We paid 1300 PHP per person, but you can get private transportation for 10-21.000 PHP. Don’t book at the hotel! They take 21k, but our hotel in El Nido offered it for 11,5k for two persons. "
