I chose this hotel because it presents itself as a luxury resort, with rates around $400 per night. Unfortunately, the quality of the room and the overall condition of the property did not meet what would reasonably be expected at that price point.
The main curtain in my room was covered in visible paint stains and remained that way throughout my stay. For a hotel positioning itself as luxury, this level of visible wear and lack of attention to detail is disappointing.
Maintenance across the property also appeared neglected. There were dead trees in the pool area, which significantly impacted the atmosphere and gave the impression of poor upkeep.
The gym was another major letdown. There was only one machine available, and it was broken during my stay, making the facility unusable. I had to travel about 10 minutes to an external gym to complete my workouts, which was inconvenient.
Service was also very slow, and there were multiple mistakes made during my restaurant visits. The overall impression was a lack of attentiveness and care from the team, which further detracted from the experience.
Overall, the stay did not reflect the luxury branding or justify the nightly rate charged.
