Me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación dos veces En verdad ese hotel no está en condiciones Las habitaciones tienen mucha humedad Los techos en muy mal estado , no llega el internet a la habitación, tuve que espera de un día para otro para cambiar de habitación y después por la misma himdad cambiarme a otra . Fue horrible en verdad , la comida el buffet lo que vi es lo mismo , el restaurante un calor terrible sin ventilación . Yo en particular no lo recomiendo

tenia mas de 20 anos sin ir a puerto plata y pense que como escuchaba se habia recuperado pero realmente mi experiencia en relacion al hotel playa show y habitacion fue buena pero no puedo decir lo mismo de la comida podrian tener mas variedad de carnes ya que nadie sale a comer spaguetis de su casa la piscina se ve bien pero no se porque no tiene ni una sombra en ningun sitio y de verdad que con el sol que hace y el calor actul es xasi imposible disfrutarla no todos somos extranjeros que queremos achichararnos, el staff se ve desanimado y poco entusiamo se siente no se si es por las condiciones de como trabajan o que sera me encantaba puerto plata pero para pagar 250 dollares la noche definitivamente pago un poco mas en punta cana

Horrible is the definition of this property. We booked a 6 night two hotel vacation at the this hotel. The rooms were unkempt, unsanitized, rusty, dirty, and there was mold everywhere in the bathroom. The curtains have never been washed and there was different color hairs all throughout the room. My Ac was not working, my sister’s room which was right across the hallway, wreaked of mildew and humidity. Her AC flooded her room and the paint outside her door was bubbled up from the leak on the roof. Omgg the food was extremely digusting and there was no options for kids. At this point, we already considerd to check out fearing that we would get sick from this place. We checked out in less than 8 hours to a hotel that cost us double the price about $4,000 due to the last minute booking. Customer service was non-existent at this moment. I explained all of my concerns to the “Expedia” representative at the hotel who was not receptive or helpful. After she indicated that we can get a refund but that “Expedia charges a one night fee” later told us that the hotel is non-refundable. The manager never showed his face and did not speak to me not even to apologize for their irresponsibility and lack of professionalism. I called Expedia but they were ignoring their call and did not respond to their email and I have proof. I kick myself for not taking pictures of how HORROBLE THIS PLACE IS. But believe me ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. I am still fighting for our refund!!!!

the staff are amazing and always treated us nicely. the only thing is the place is not keeped up. for example we had water coming into are rooms on the 3rd floor. mold and alot of water damages. the beach isn't kept up especially the vip area. the stairs to the rooms are cracked.

Went on a Family vacation for 5 days. The Resort is terrible, the food and drink quality, property maintenance, very limited Wifi. Also, DR is very lively and this resort was sort of dead in terms of music and entertainment. Although the staff really tried to work with the people but the management is not good.

The VIP is not convenient, a decent walk. Limited options. The food on the property was unfulfilling and left us with upset stomachs. Food off property was much better! Wifi in the rooms was poor while on the beach was better? Not sure how that works.

The place was cleaned, staff very helpful and attentive. I think the food from the buffet should be more authentic to the region, meaning it should have been more Dominican dishes.

This was my fourth time coming here and still it’s clean and simple. Keep in mind it is a bit outdated compared to other new resorts but they do a great job keeping it clean and providing a good service.

TERRIBLE! AWFUL! WORST RESORT EVER! Customer service is nonexistent at this resort! First of all, it wouldn’t hurt if they occasionally smiled! They certainly do not know how to apologize! My flight was delayed so I could not get there until the next day. I called and spoke with someone at their front desk, and they said no problem, no problem at all, we will see you tomorrow. I arrive and they had canceled my reservation and given away our room! They finally gave us a terrible, old, filthy 2 double bed room. We had paid for a Superior King VIP room. Went back and complained and they said come back tomorrow at 3:00. We were at the desk at 2:40 and they said no problem, our new room would be ready at 3:00. We came back and they had already given that room away! So we waited another hour for another room. This resort is old and in need of many repairs! The food is awful and the same every day. The wait staff is ok, but the cooks are not friendly at all. They act like you are wasting their time. Room cleaners are terrible. They say they will clean your room while we are gone to eat, or to the beach, but they never did. Our room was cleaned and sheets changed only once the whole week. We never did get the VIP towels that were supposed to be in the room. We finally had to get a couple blue towels another way. Unemployment is so high in the DR, they should fire half the staff. They could have 100 new people anxious to work the next day! Horribly mis-managed!! TERRIBLE RESORT!!

Horrible birthday trip. They had no transportation from the airport to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel after 1am. (Which they knew I was coming because I called with updates). The shower was clogged. Water wouldn’t go down. Door handles dirty. Alcoholic beverage on the table in the common area. I had two kids with me on this trip. The room was infested with mosquitoes. Other persons here all over the room, the bedsheets, the bathroom. Bathroom mirror dirty. Mattress filthy. Hole in the ceiling. They said family friendly definitely not. The food was nasty and cold. The dresses nasty and stained bed sheets. I ask for a room upgrade and I was told it would be $70 extra per night. I agreed and was told I would have to stay in that room for the night and maybe get a room in the morning. So I had to end up looking for a Airbnb and booking that for a little over $400. And I paid over $800 for this hotel. And they are not willing to give me a full refund even though I booked for 4 days and I was there for less than 24 hours.

A decent location but felt it was a resort that hasn't been updated in a while. The staff were kind but the room service wasn't great especially considering I was a VIP. Good place as starting resort but there are better ones outside of this one.

I booked this hotel thinking about having a good relaxing time with my fiancé. When we got there ohhh boy the Hotel is falling apart the rooms are old and dirty, I asked for a different room,wasted about an hour waiting and the room was even worst at this point we just check out and booked another hotel. Please don’t book this hotel until they updates their rooms it’s not worth it

Room - it was infested with small roaches Buffet - not a variety of food. The tables were dirty. Service- in the buffet I waited for more than 30 minutes for water & coffee.
