Room was as requested and not humid.
Food was just ok.
Staff was just ok and just present not going above and beyond without too many smiles.
Property in “desperate” need of upgrading since our last visit 7 years ago.
Beach is in a desperate need of an uplift and looks dilapidated.
Many lounge chairs needing to be replaced throughout and more to be added.
No umbrellas at the main pool areas whatsoever.
Charged 20$ USD for late check out after husband became violently ill from food poisoning 3 days after myself and 3 other individuals in our complex. People were falling ill throughout the whole resort when speaking to folks. Hotel told me it was a 24 hour flu.
Staff working around the resort with blaring two-way radios and speaking very loudly with no consideration to those in the quiet pool area.
Coffee machine in above location wasn’t working for a week and when it was it ran out of milk, coffee and hot chocolate before the end of the day. Most staff serve themselves which is fine but then paying guests don’t have the service because it’s refilled only the next day accompanied with a plate of cookies for all to enjoy.
Would I go back … most likely not bit price point can’t be beat IF you know what to expect.
