Our domain, Oranga house, is a place of luxury and design made up of a small castle, a restored typical barn and a wellness activity shala, easily accessible from Paris by train (1h30) or car (2h15).

Surrounded by forests and hundred-year-old trees on a 2-hectare area, we have a swimming pool swimming pool heated in season.

Housing

We warmly welcome you to our typical barn which we have completely restored and which can accommodate up to 6 people.

We have preserved the heritage of the past to reveal it in a contemporary setting where luxury rhymes with aesthetics and elegance. Explore and be inspired by the warm and comfortable design of our spaces.

Admire our century-old sequoias from our dining room opening onto our domain, relax in our living room facing our heated outdoor swimming pool in season or rest in one of our 3 refined luxury rooms overlooking the wooded park.

All our rooms have their own toilet and bathroom and are equipped with King Size bedding in the comfort of the great Parisian palaces. All rooms are equipped with organic or natural shower gel, shampoo and hand soap.

Our room on the ground floor is suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM).

You also benefit from a fully equipped Siematic and VZUG kitchen with a huge custom-made red oak table that can accommodate up to 14 people.

Access
During your stay, you will have access to our 2-hectare estate.

Our park is our jewel, it has been completely redesigned by our landscape architect to magnify the tranquility of the place.

We are lucky to have bouquets of century-old sequoias that give off extraordinary energy as well as 2 magnificent Atlas cedars that will welcome you as soon as you enter. We have planted hundreds of trees with species from the region, each of which has a role to play in the development of biodiversity.

To go even further, we have created an permaculture orchard that you can enjoy in season with strawberries, raspberries, cherries, plums, peach trees, pear trees, persimmons, medicinal and aromatic plants, etc. For the largest shrubs, there are we will still need a little time before enjoying it, nature has its own rhythm.

We have also created a vegetable garden in the shape of a permaculture mandala where our annual vegetables grow (tomatoes, peas, beans, cabbage, beets, salads, etc.) which is used by our chef in season.

Other informations
Beyond our barn, our estate is made up of a manor house (small country castle), designed in the same spirit of refined design. This is available for hire. It has 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom, 2 living rooms, a kitchen open to a dining room offering magnificent views on each side of our park.

In total, on the whole estate, we can accommodate up to 16 people in 8 double rooms.

We also have a panoramic Shala designed by a renowned architect housing our wellness stay activities (Yoga practices, Qi Gong, Gong sound baths, massages and music studio). This one is rented in supplement only within the framework of training courses, retreats, seminars, shootings, private event defined beforehand.

Beyond the rental of luxury houses, Our domain is a center of well-being stays and place of seminars for companies (named Oranga which means sustainability, life, well-being in Maori).

We are surrounded by forests and close to all amenities 5 minutes by car from the town of Romorantin Lanthenay where you will find a large shopping center, a market every Wednesday and Saturday, very good bakeries and various shops.

Admired all over the world, we are fortunate to be located near the most beautiful Châteaux of the Loire Valley.

During your stay, take the opportunity to visit them, the choice is not lacking: Château de Chambord, Château de Cheverny, Château de Chenonceau, Château d'Amboise, Château de Blois and many more. What could be more romantic for a romantic getaway or with friends!

They are all located between 15 and 45 minutes by car from Oranga.
If you do not have a vehicle, we can organize the rental of a vehicle.

Our estate, located in the "Grande Sologne", is classified as a Natura 2000 zone, a natural area of ​​Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic interest. We are surrounded by forests, a great opportunity to practice forest baths and hikes.

We have several hiking trails nearby accessible on foot and also a GR departure accessible 5 minutes by car. The national forests of Chambord and Lamotte Beuvron offer very beautiful walks and you are not immune to meeting deer, roe deer, wild boar and a variety of birds.

In season, from mid-September to mid-October, the deer slab is a unique moment to meet this majestic deer. We organize hikes with specialized guides for those who wish.

At 30 minutes by car, you have the 4th most beautiful zoo in the world, the Beauval zoo. A huge zoo to visit absolutely with children!
