Pu’u Poa Unit 212 in Princeville, Kauai, has unequaled views and an elegant, open, and bright interior making it unquestionably one of the best and most luxurious condos at Pu’u Poa. With an enclosed atrium, there is an additional sitting room with a sofa and chairs to relax inside and enjoy the view of Bali Hai. This suite has an extra living room window overlooking the ocean that no other unit has added. This home also features air conditioning in the living area.

An end-corner suite with huge windows on two sides, this condo commands spectacular views of the famed Bali Hai cliffs, the ocean, the whitewater, and the coral reef below. From the living room, dining room, den, and kitchen there is a 260-degree ocean view - like sitting on the bridge of a ship with water all around. This is the perfect location for a romantic honeymoon or for two couples vacationing together.

There is a large patio with a gas grill, two large bedroom suites each with its own en-suite bathroom, a large living room, a solarium/den, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining room, with ceiling fans in each room. The condo has updated kitchen appliances, a fully equipped kitchen complete with every gadget you'll need, and a private washer/dryer.

On-site is a tennis court, a swimming pool, and a path to the Hideaway Beach below. The Princeville Hotel is located next door with shops, dining, and entertainment.

THINGS TO KNOW
The path to Hideaways Beach is steep and can be slippery when it rains. Please use caution.
The PuuPoa Condo property is undergoing various maintenance around the complex. Construction noise and crews may be heard in the parking lot and periodically around the complex during business hours.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Bali Hai Views

This property was amazing and the perfect base for our visit to Kauai. The unit is spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 3. The views go on for miles, and we loved watching sunsets and surfers and were also lucky enough to see whales from the unit as well. A quick drive to Hanalei Bay with shops and restaurants and a great beach. Overall the property was quiet and calm, although there was some construction work in the unit above us which we were not made aware of before our stay, it made a few of the afternoons a bit loud but we modified our schedules for the remaining days to account for it. We will likely stay here again but would like to see a few maintenance issues addressed.

Location and view unbeatable

We had a wonderful stay in the condo. Overall clean and functional, very comfortable and spacious. Everything you need in the kitchen. The view is special from this unit, due to the extra windows on the side of the living room and kitchen, probably the only unit in Puu Poa with this combo of Bali Hai and Queens Bath views - 180 degrees. The views are breathtaking, and as a result, the unit is very bright and has an open feel. Would love to come back.

Stunning views Air conditioning a PROBLEM

Overall, our stay was good at this condo. YOU CANNOT beat the stunning views from every window. They were truly unbelievable. The condo was clean and a nice layout. The PROBLEM was that it only had ONE mini split air conditioner. It couldn't keep up with the heat that was generated from the large floor to ceiling windows. One of the sitting rooms is like an atrium (has a glass roof), so the heat generating in that area was a lot! The air conditioner ran the entire time and blew cool air, but there was not adjusting it because it had an error code. We notified Vacasa and they were going to send someone out to look at it, but we decided we would deal with it because we didn't want it to get worse if they couldn't fix it right away. You knew this was a normal problem because they had three large fans to use in the rooms to help circulate the air. If we had someone staying in the back room, they would have been very hot. We made do with closing up the condo ( shades down, closing off rooms, etc.) during the day so the heat was more manageable. It did get better later at night and first thing in the morning. Again, I gave 4 stars because of the incredible views and location of the condo. We loved being near the places we wanted to explore in the Princeville area. It would get ONE STAR for comfort because of the air conditioning. We were there in September and the weather was beautiful. If being cool after a day at the beach is important to you, this may not be the place for you.

Perfect location

This was such a beautiful location with stunning views! Our family really appreciated having a space in such a beautiful location. The photos on this listing are beautiful but still don’t quite capture how beautiful it was here. Binoculars are available for use and we enjoyed watching the sea turtles. We did cook a good portion of our meals here and everything you could need was in the kitchen. This made being on vacation with littles more manageable. Also, within walking distance is a hidden beach that was perfect for snorkeling and playing in the water. If you don’t mind a pretty steep climb down and back up, I highly recommend! I do want to add this is within walking distance to 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay which is a world-class wellness resort. We visited their coffee shop several times and had we planned better, would have loved to get on their schedule for a facial and massages. This location is such a gem! Northern Kauai is the most beautiful part of the island in my opinion. If you do helicopter tours and go on a tour of the Na Pali coast, you will have around an hour of a drive but it’s still worth it!

Beautiful view

The condo is beautiful with amazing scenic views. It s clean and spacious and stocked with everything you need. The only thing is that the a/c had trouble cooling the place in the heat of summer. But that was a minor inconvenience. All in all, I’d stay here again.

Great Property Location and Amazing Views!

Fantastic property location and amazing views! Check-in was very easy and simple. Close access to a beautiful and fantastic beach just below the community. Do recommend that visitors bring or rent their own snorkel gear though as the location did not provide any. We did have a slight issue with a leak problem and some cleanliness aspects, but the property manager was quick to rectify which we appreciated. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Awesome location!

Serenaded by waves, enraptured by sunsets…beautiful shaded beach below. Plenty of space for the mobile massage set up to take advantage of the sound of the surf. The moments that make a vacation special. Buy some ahi, some 100% Kona, your alcoholic beverage of choice, and have a magical time. (Not to mention TOTO washlets! If only the loo had the view…)

Beautiful condo, amazing views, great location

We stayed at this condo for our Babymoon and really loved it overall. The views are perfect, location is great and condo itself was clean, nicely decorated and updated. It was all in all wonderful and would certainly go back. Note for warm sleepers, the master bedroom was cool with the doors open to the living area where the AC unit was, but the back of the house and back bedroom was quite warm - we didn’t need the extra room but if you do, fair warning that it was stuffy and may have been difficult to sleep in. The one issue we had was the Internet and TV going down halfway through the trip, so we unfortunately didn’t have access to either for the second half of our trip and didn’t have phone service either (AT&T is terrible in that area!) so we were “off the grid” for better or worse. While we were disappointed to not be able to get online or watch TV in the evening, the management company did their best to help us through the situation and make it right.

Fantastic Place!

My family stayed in this beautiful condo for 3nights. Wish is was longer. Very spacious, kitchen was stocked, comfy beds…even had AC in the front room. The views were the best! Great location and always plenty of parking. We have stayed at this complex three times but this was our favorite condo by far. We will return!

2021 Kauai Pu'u Poa 212

Beautiful condo, with terrific views. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Location is more of a resort setting, embedded past two nice golf courses and park-like walking paths; though 2+ mile walk to Princeville village (45 min walk), so recommend driving. Close to Hanahei Bay, which is a quaint town and close access to Na Pali coast. Had to plan trips there though, due to road repairs from 2018 landslide; repairs almost done, so won't be an issue by 2022. Great sunset view over the ocean. Found a minor issue with loose toilet set, but fixed promptly and well done the next day. Would stay here again.
