  • Nær kanten av en bløff med utsikt over havet er Pali Ke Kua 106 en favoritt blant mange gjester som kommer tilbake hvert år. Kommentarer i gjesteboken gjenspeiler hvor mye de liker å feriere her i sitt "hjem borte fra hjemmet", og noen har til og med sagt at denne endenheten er deres favoritt borettslag med ett soverom på nordkysten.

Perfect location & view. We were able to set out & watch the whales & had several wanting to know how we were able to get this location. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to this area.

Lovely development in pretty Princeville with grocery store Foodland and restaurants right next door and stunning views from our unit overlooking Hanalei Bay! Only constructive criticism is that the bathroom (and towels) were very old & tired and should be updated and the kitchen accessories (old unsharpened knives, etc) need to be replaced to reflect the pricing of a luxury rental. Also, the interior rattan furnishings were nice but too big for the spaces (ie the lounge chair did not fit in the living room and awkwardly blocked the sliding glass doors to the outside lawn/lanai and the armoire did not fit in the bedroom, as when opening the doors it bumped into the foot of the bed) But other than that, the Unit was really nice overall and served our needs!

The view was magnificent This was our 2nd Pali Ke Kia visit & we loved it again. The 1st floor unit provided an open area from the lanai to the back yard and ocean view. Just breath taking sunset with the mountains and ocean view

Beautiful condo in paradise

The condo was wonderful! Beautiful view right off the patio and located very close to north shore attractions (Tunnels Beach and Hanalei Bay are a must)! The condo was clean and the property was well taken care of. Only downside to staying on this side of the island is that all tours/attractions seem to go out of the south or east shore (about and hour drive). We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Hanalei

Excellent location for view and value. This well appointed one-bedroom overlooks entire Hanalei Bay with Bali Hai view. Lanai & grassy overlook makes it complete. Walk steep ramp down to small private beach, or to VG public beach with restaurant, bar & amenities (access via stairs adjacent to 1 Hanalei Bay Hotel). Car needed to enjoy Hanalei retaurants & other amenities. Will Return.

We stayed four nights and loved it! I liked the dark green tropical decor, the well made and pretty rattan furniture. I appreciated having the use of a cooler, 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. The dining nook is charming and best seat in the house in my opinion. The view was amazing! Privacy was sketchy at times with people from other areas using the grassy area to view sunsets, a group of 7 teens planted themselves for over an hour - but hey, I guess it is an open area. And the path to the beach is right next to the dining nook so we kept that shade closed. By the way, LOVE the shades! The wifi could be slow and iffy, tv buffered etc. Nothing to hinder really, just had to reconnect a few times. I was concerned about no A/C but we were totally comfortable the whole time! Used the ceiling fans and windows. And whenever we left we closed the indoor shades and lowered the lanai shades. Thank you so much, we would stay here again! Beautiful property

Great View/Lame Property

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is stunning which comes close to making up for the property's shortcomings. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the sunset each night- it was nothing short of spectacular.The dwelling itself is rundown and in dire need of renovation. Two emails we sent to property management prior to our arrival never received a response, but check-in and out was easy.Overall, if you don't mind not having A/C or anything close to fancy amenities, the fantastic view and amazing location might work for you.

This charming, clean townhome had spectacular views, a well-appointed kitchen, and a super comfortable king-size bed. Don't plan on taking an afternoon siesta if you're in unit 106 as the bedroom windows faced the busy walkway leading to units 101 through 105 and to the property's private pathway to Hideaway Beach. (I could hear lots of conversations and roller bags on the sidewalk during the day through the louvered windows that provided air circulation. But note, it was very quiet overnight.) And the verdant lawn beyond the lanai was as beautiful as the pictures but was for show only - the exotic nene geese continuously re-fertilized it with their droppings. I never missed that there was no A/C for the nights I stayed in late May; I actually enjoyed the sound of the ocean waves crashing below the cliffside property. Finally, there were two separate charges on my credit card shortly after booking: one for the property and one for VRBO's fee. I'd really rather not know how much extra I spent by using the platform.

Absolutely Gorgeous View

My husband and I visited Kauai for our 25th wedding anniversary. The condo was clean and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with everything that was needed for cooking, etc. The beach chairs and towels were a plus. With the trade winds and fans in the condo, we never got hot. The bed was very comfortable as well. What we enjoyed most was the beautiful view of Bali Hai. We would definitely recommend!

Every other year since 1975

We come to Pali Ke Kua every other year since 1975 when Kauai had a single traffic light in Lihue. We've stayed in many of the PKK units and this one was great. Will probably come back in 2025 for another 2 weeks.

Perfect location and view

The paratmenr has everything you need- chairs, umbrella, cooler, well stocked kitchen. The WiFi is terrible, even being right next to the modem. And the tv is very very small. In this day and age of inexpensive TV’s it would be nice if they upgraded to something you can see from the sofa.

Lovely location. I could get down to a secluded beach fightclose to the property. Originally I Wasserstein concerned about too much traffic to the beach. , but it was off to the side, ok.it rained a lot in Princeville,, which I understand. So no problem.only problem I saw was an umbrella. It would have been nice to have a large golf umbrella

Loved seeing the nene arrive on the lawn every afternoon - watching them interact was a surprising highlight of our stay!No AC, most noticeable in the afternoon leading up to sunset, which unfortunately was usually when we returned to the unit after our day's activities. Had to close the shades to block out the sun, which kind of defeats the purpose of that gorgeous view during the afternoon hours. (Fans have nothing on the beating sun in August.) Also, people often hang out on the lawn to see the sunset, take photos, etc. This didn't bother us, but good to know if you are planning a stay.)We let KVR know when we returned keys to the office that there were MANY dead bugs in the bathroom. Not a handful, but loads. Seems like there is an infestation in the wall or behind the vanity mirror. (I also emailed photos and a video, but did not hear back.) The shower window screen is not flush, so mosquitoes were able to get in. The TV is comically small, smaller than many computer monitors. While we are not visiting Kauai to watch TV, we did want to see the Olympics, and sometimes it's fun to put on a movie. FYI PKK pool is quite small, and BBQing is not permitted on the property. (We saw many units with electric grills on the lanai, but not in 106.) One must walk down the rather steep path to the beach to grill! (We did not.)

The shower window screen is not flush, so mosquitoes were able to get in. The TV is comically small, smaller than many computer monitors. While we are not visiting Kauai to watch TV, we did want to see the Olympics, and sometimes it's fun to put on a movie. FYI PKK pool is quite small, and BBQing is not permitted on the property. (We saw many units with electric grills on the lanai, but not in 106.) One must walk down the rather steep path to the beach to grill! (We did not.)
