Breezy + Spacious 3/2 Home with Bali Hai View + Hot Tub

Welcome to the Kamalani Lodge! Our newly renovated 3BR/2BA house has floor-to-ceiling louvered windows to maximize tropical breezes throughout the house, a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and SS appliances, and resort-quality king beds. Outside you will find a 6-person hot tub, outdoor dining set, Weber propane grill, and large yard. We also provide tons of recreational gear and toys so you can enjoy all Kauai has to offer! THE SPACE
The first floor of this approx. 2000 sq ft home contains a spacious kitchen and living area, full bathroom with tub/shower combo, and two bedrooms--one with a king-sized bed and the other bedroom with two twin-sized beds. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets with storage for clothing and luggage. The first-floor bathroom has separate closed spaces for the toilet/bathtub and the sink/vanity areas.

The upstairs area consists of a second living space with a large desk for remote work, a queen-sized sofa bed, a wet bar, and an outdoor balcony. The third bedroom and attached master bathroom are also on the second floor with a second private balcony. The large master bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower and sink/vanity area with additional storage. Both bathrooms have rainfall shower heads.

Both king beds in the house have resort-quality Fairmont Sealy Stearns & Foster® Luxury Euro Plush Pillowtop mattresses. The two twin beds have Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses. All beds have down pillows and down-alternative duvets with cotton percale duvet covers and sheets.

The garage contains a full-sized washer and dryer (along with detergent and fabric sheets), a second full-sized refrigerator for Costco hauls, and plenty of recreational equipment and toys! We have Callaway golf clubs, boogie boards, surfboards, beach toys, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, umbrella, pickle ball set, and Razor scooters for your use. We also have a highchair, bed rails, and toddler stroller for the smaller kids in the group.

The backyard consists of a wooden deck with outdoor dining set and solar-light umbrella for evening dining, as well as a large 6-person hot tub. The yard is large with plenty of space for games and running around and is filled with several types of fruit trees! Feel free to eat what is ripe and enjoy.

WIFI
The home is equipped with super-fast Spectrum wifi (up to 1000 mbps), perfect for streaming shows on multiple devices, downloading/uploading large files, and reliable remote workspace access for a flex-cation.

LOCAL AREA
The Kamalani Lodge is convenient to many North Shore attractions, so you'll never be without something to see or do. The closest beach is Wyllie's Beach, which is about 0.8 miles to the trailhead and an additional 0.4 miles down the trail to the beach. Queen's Bath is just 1.8 miles away through our quiet neighborhood. You can take yourself to Hanalei Town by car in just 10 minutes and to Anini Beach in just 15 minutes. The world-renowned Na Pali Coast is only a short drive up the coast--in just 30 minutes you can be embarking on a great adventure at the Kalalau Trailhead. Foodland, the closest grocery store, is within walking distance at 0.7 miles from the house, along with other convenient stores and restaurants located at the Princeville Center.

A Grand Place for Our Family Gathering

Perfect Family House

We loved this property! Super clean, accurate descriptions/pics. Our 4 year old said it was his “favorite house ever”! Gorgeous views and green everywhere. The garage is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy time at the beach. Beds were super comfy! Any issues were quickly taken care of by the property manager and owners. The overall feeling of this home is comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay again! Small thing to note: right next door is an empty grass lot. Our kids loved running around on the open space! However, if a party is happening in the neighborhood, it will be used as a parking lot as there is no street parking allowed. We were staying at the property over Easter weekend and a neighbor threw a big celebration. Because the house has so many beautiful windows and no fence - the cars/people had a direct view of us in the house/jacuzzi. I don’t think this would be a common occurrence and it didn’t take away from our overall love of the home.

Lovely house with pretty decor and great location!

This house was great for our two family Kauai Thanksgiving trip! The layout worked really well for us (two teens, two kids, and 4 adults) and I loved that we could all watch a movie together, or all eat meals together without feeling crowded. The backyard was just fantastic -- the hot tub, the outdoor dining, fruit trees, privacy, grill -- it was all there and it was all very nice. I appreciated that we were not expected to do much of anything for checkout cleaning. And I super appreciated how responsive and awesome the property manager Chris was. He was super professional and took great care of us and the house. We had some minor plumbing issues (one with the garbage disposal that our group may or may not have contributed to) that he came over and addressed right away. For the overall rating I would have given 4.8 had the option been available, because there were a couple of things that our group struggled with: 1. The handles to turn on both of the showers need to be fixed. One was really hard to turn and the other fell off whenever we tried to use it. Chris came over right away to work on it but it was still broken. 2. The ceiling fans simply did not work -- while the owners did acknowledge that they had some issue getting them to work properly and that they would be replacing them in the future, we were only able to get one to work at a time. 3. The pots and pans in the kitchen need to be replaced and upgraded to reflect the quality of the rest of the property and how well stocked the rest of the kitchen was was with pretty much everything needed for cooking and entertaining away from home. We contemplated buying a set of skillets for the house because some were so warped that they didn't lay flat which made it hard to cool on and some had their non-stick coating totally scratched and peeling. Other than that, everything was fantastic and we would totally stay here again AND recommend it to friends.

This is a beautiful, well-stocked, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect, you can walk to groceries and restaurants. The hot tub was lovely. There is plenty of beach equipment which was a bonus for us. The family hadn't been together in over 4 years and wanted the destination to be special. Everyone said this vacation home and time was better we imagined!

My family requested a Hawaii vacation with Kaui being the unanimous choice. I was able to book 3 homes in Princeville using VRBO for my family of 16: 3 kids, spouses, and 8 grandchildren ages 14-20. The location was ideal (2nd VRBO in same block) because kids could walk to nearby shops, large table inside for eating and games...screened patios with view were perfect for relaxing, eating, etc. Management was helpful and allowed us to leave luggage and groceries inside before check-in. Plenty of space for the 10 who stayed there....and only VRBO site where all 16 could eat together. THANKS! Sure we will return.

Perfect for a large family

We came with our family of 6 to celebrate a high school graduation and 16th birthday and this home was perfect! We had everything we needed for a day at the beach (including life vests for our littles) We were a short drive from Food Land, Hideaway Beach and Hanalei Bay. Our family had plenty of space to sprawl out. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Wish we could live here!

The entire family loved staying here! The house is in a very laid back and quiet neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable and we slept great every night. 5 nights just wasn’t enough! Tons of beach equipment, including boogie boards, surf boards (didn’t use but wish we had), and enough snorkeling equipment for our entire family. I took the bike out one day for a nice ride around the neighborhood. The fruit trees were a neat experience as well. The bananas weren’t quite ripe during our stay, but we picked limes and used them with dinner. Location was perfect for exploring the north shore. We drove to Hanalei several times, which is just a 10 min drive. The owner and on-island contract were both very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you!

Beautiful Princeville Home!

Aloha! We we celebrated our 20 Year Anniversary & the boys birthday month. We loved being close enough to the ocean and within walking distance to the shops. We enjoyed sitting on the balconies (amazing views--every window looked like a postcard ) and watching the birds & admiring the mountains. The property was very clean, well stocked, and spacious. (We had 2 newly turned 14 year old boys who took the 2 bedrooms downstairs) We truly appreciated the serenity. The only disappointment was that we didn't get to use the hot tub at all due to a broken part that needed ordered & replaced during our week stay. All things considered, we would definitely rent it again! Hope to enjoy it all again in the future!

Perfect family home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! It just feels so bright and cheery. It had everything we needed. The beds and linen were comfortable. There is no AC, but tons of windows that let in the breeze. We enjoyed using all of the spaces, which allowed us to be together, or decompress alone. The neighborhood is beautiful and a convenient 10 minute walk to the Princeville shopping center with lots of options for food and shopping. We even caught the farmers market on Saturday morning. This is a perfect location for exploring the North Shore. The host was very responsive and immediately addressed any questions or concerns we had.

So much house and space!

This was an amazing layout for families. Upstairs master suite and hangout space with plenty of space downstairs, too. Outdoors also had extra lot to the side with soft grass and lots of room to play. Our adult group enjoyed playing in the hot tub and watching the stars.

Wonderful home!

We loved staying this property! It was absolutely beautiful. The pictures on this listing don’t do it justice! We had everything we needed and more. Property is spacious and well stocked with whatever you need for cooking, cleaning, or going to the beach ( chairs, snorkels, boards, beach towels, etc). Hot tubs is a bonus. Great Place for the Family Get Away

We stayed in Oct for our family vacation. The house was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the extras that were available for our use like the beach towels and cooler. They made life so much easier when we couldn’t bring them ourselves. The house was clean and the neighborhood beautiful. There is no air conditioning, but the many windows and doors allowed for great air flow this time of year. Thanks for the great stay!
