«Location next to the coffee roaster in town is excellent. Port fairy was a great location to stop. Rebecca’s was a cute little coffee and biscuit shop. Florentine’s were amazing. We did dinner at fish and chips shop at the wharf. Good but take it to go. Park at the end of the point is a must visit.»

«really nice room as we were upgraded which was really kind. I think the advert is a bit misleading as the pictures all show the best room and not all rooms have views to the river as the images show and kitchen etc is shared. That said, because we had a better room and no-one else there we had a wonderful time with the whole space to ourselves, great facilities (although bathroom a bit dated) very comfortable bed, lovely sitting are and well equipped kitchen. Host was excellent and incredibly ...

«Villa was very clean and lots of room, mattresses where very firm, we would have liked more comfortable mattress. Parking good a laundry facilities excellent, swim spa was great nothing like a dip in the early morning or before going to bed. Sonia helped manage the property and she was lovely, very helpful with our silly questions, quite a few mosquitoes so bring some spray with you.»

«This was a nice and clean place to stay. The only complaint I have is the bathroom didn't have a bathroom fan/vent in it so it got very foggy and wet in there after using the shower. But everything else was great.»

«Incredible stay at Basalt Retreat! We enjoyed a cozy and luxurious evening the beautiful vineyard, made even more lovely by the complimentary bottle of prosecco and warm hot cocoa. The space itself is gorgeous and so well appointed—from the fascinating books to the gorgeously-scented bath products. Breakfast was delicious: an exquisite croissant loaf with butter and fig jam, plus yogurt and muesli, all made by local purveyors. If you have time, make sure to get lunch at the lovely restaurant. ...
