1st stay at the Carlton and very enjoyable. Check in quick and smooth. Rooms and all areas of hotel modern and spotless clean. Great staff who couldn't do enough. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Will definitely re-visit and can highly recommend to anyone.

Slowest service ever
Receptionist told me wrong way to my room!? Service at breakfast was soooo slow! Was trying to get my own drink as no sign of staff to ask! Beware Bedroom doors bang loudly! Should put the gluten free menu in room as there’s no gluten free options on room service menu. Food was nice, just cold.

We do take all feedback we receive into high consideration.We do have new staff on our reception desk and it sounds like they have gotten mixed up with the layout of the hotel, but I do appreciate that this was less than ideal for yourselves, please accept my sincere apologies for this.Regarding our Room Service menu, we do cater for all dietary requirements and have a large range of different dietary menus that are available on request.I can only apologise for the speed of service you received during your breakfast sitting, I will pass this on to our management team as this is not the standard of service we aim for.I sincerely hope this doesn't deter you from visiting again in the future and if you would like to contact us with any additional feedback, please don't hesitate to get in touch at, reception@carlton-prestwick.com

The hotel is beautiful rooms really nice, we did have an issue with evening meal, we were booked in 7.30 and got starter fairly quickly however it was approx 9.15 before we received the main course a bit too late which then resulted the sweet arriving about half hour later but we weren't able to eat much of it as too late now, we did get a free drink and an apology from waiting staff but overall wasn't best experience

Unfortunately, most hotels in Scotland along with residential buildings will no have in built air conditioning, although we do provide fans in all of our rooms and are more than happy to provide an additional fan, where possible.If you required assistance with your luggage, our reception team would have been more than willing to help with this, or if you required a ground floor room, we can accommodate this on request.Regarding our breakfast selection, we do try and offer a varied selection to cater to everyone's needs including our continental and cooked options, we would love to hear further feedback on this.
