Giovanna and Pascale were amazing hosts and the rental is beautiful, clean, and in a wonderful location for exploring the coast. They were so responsive and gave great suggestions for food, beaches, transportation and more. They also helped us arrange a private driver for our journey to and from Naples. I would love to come back for another stay and will definitely recommend for others visiting the Amalfi Coast!

Believe the hype…magical

We stay at a lot of VRBO’s when we travel. We rarely see a property with nothing but 10/10. So of course we were a little skeptical. Now we understand! Giovanna and Pasquale are very special hosts and this property is perfect if you like to feel like a part of a community and not a tourist. The view was unbelievable. The flat is perfect. And we were cared for with attention I’ve never experienced…and we have had many great hosts. The stairs are real. We loved it because we love the challenge and found it exhilarating and different—even than Cinque Terre. Praiano is a great respite from the hustle and bustle of Positano and Amalfi. I really hope we return to this property and Praiano again!

PERFECT ALMAFI VACATION!!! The place was amazing, the beach was not packed and great for the family, plenty of close stores and restaurants…but Giovanna and Pasquale made this stay truly memorable!! They greeted us with open arms, gave us tomatoes and lemons daily, some medicine when our kid cut his foot on a rock and we’re like stating with family! They were amazing, so do yourself a favor and get this GEM of a place in Praiano!!!

An absolute must!

One of the best places we have ever stayed! The view is unmatched and the place was lovely. The hosts, Giovanna and Pasquale, are some of the nicest people we have ever met and truly made the stay even more memorable. From the homegrown tomatoes and lemons to the freshly baked cake we were given and the kind hellos and help with directions, public transport and activities they helped us explore Priano while also feeling at home and relaxed. So thankful for the kindness and help from Giovanna and Pasquale and will be counting down the days until we can hopefully return!

Praiano Perfection

Breathtaking views and perfect location. Giovanna and Pasquale were the perfect hosts. Welcoming and friendly. Bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable. Praiano is the perfect location to visit the Amalfi Coast. Easy to get local shuttle or bus from the villa for day trips.

They are not kidding about the steps. If you can’t make 85 steps straight up, this isn’t a place for you. Yeah lovely lovely people and a beautiful location nice and clean.

Amazing place to stay!

Not only did we have an amazing view of the coast but the house was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed…but the best part of our stay was our amazing hosts!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful our hosts Giovanna and Pasquale were! They not only arranged our private transfer from the train station but they also met us where we pulled in and helped us to the house. They also helped us arrange other activities during our stay and gave us amazing recommendations of places to eat and shop. Absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back!!!

A Serene Escape with Stunning Ocean Views

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful rental, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking ocean views. The location is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in tranquility. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space. The private balcony is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while watching the ocean, or to unwind with a glass of wine in the evening. The beach is also fantastic, after a good number of steps you'll be sitting in paradise. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing a top-notch experience truly sets this rental apart.

What a view!!!!

Outstanding apartment in Priaino, Italy. Spotless, updated and quiet. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. Only negative is it is lots of steps to get there. That being said I would rent it again. Owner outstanding. Had a glass of wine with my cousins. Class act.Spoke excellent English. You will not be disappointed.

Made Our Trip The Best Ever

Wonderful home with fantastic views. Well equipped with everything you need. Large terrace to enjoy the awesome views. But what makes this VRBO stand apart from all others are the hosts. They go above and beyond in making your stay a memorable one. Great and prompt communication. They take care of you like you are a part of the family. We will be back. Best experience ever.

Perfetto!

Everything about our two week stay at this delightful property was a total sensual pleasure. From the fresh sea breezes to the freshly sun dried bedding on the supremely comfortable beds. My sister and I enjoyed our own rooms and bathrooms and had breakfast every morning on the terrace overlooking the sea and the yachts sailing by. One room is much more spacious and light than the other and has direct access to the terrace - and I won! Our hosts were gracious and lovely, and were both entertaining and a great source of information. We very much appreciated the fact that Praiano is very quiet and sleepy, especially since it is so close to Positano (quite the opposite) where much shopping and entertainment can be found. The beach club at Marina di Praia, situated between two high cliffs, was lovely, with multiple wonderful restaurants just steps away. The price for two beach chairs and an umbrella was 50 euros. The only real downside was the public transit system which was unpredictable (despite our use of the Moovit app) and very crowded. The schedule seemed to change mid way thru our 2 week stay So we made sure the tours we booked to Capri and Pompeii included bus transportation to those sites. Also, the stairs are no joke so be prepared! We thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous cooking class in Praiano led by members of Italy’s slow food movement and included foraging for wild herbs like arugula. Don’t miss the amazing gelato at Bar del Sole!

Spectacular Praiano/A slice of heaven

We had an amazing time in this little slice of heaven property. It was very comfortable and clean with an absolutely gorgeous view. The two bedrooms and two baths were perfect and provided ample space. The communications with these amazing hosts was first rate and so informative. Responses were very quick and gave great information. They also arranged transportation for us for our departure. All information was clearly stated prior to booking the property so please read carefully. The Amalfi coast requires many steps including this property which is clearly communicated by these hosts. The property is located in a more quiet area which we enjoyed to get away from the crowds. Grocery stores, ATM, and 3 restaurants are very convenient to the property. However, what makes this property stand out are the hosts, Pasquale and Giovanna. We have stayed at many of VRBO type properties and have never experienced the hospitality provided by them. They wanted to make sure we had all our questions answered and were having a great time. They are truly SUPER HOSTS and lovely individuals. So thank you for sharing your home.

Breathtaking views!

We loved our stay! The views were amazing with sunrise views and breathtaking sea views! The unit was clean and well appointed. Giovanna was an amazing host, answering all of our questions prior to arrival and assisting with transfers from the train station. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! Praiano was beautiful and centrally located on the Amalfi coast.

Heaven on Earth

Where to start?? Giovanna and Pasquale were the most amazing hosts. They met us at our taxi drop off, helped with our luggage to the apartment, made sure we had dinner, baked us a cake, provided Prosecco - and that was just the beginning! The apartment was perfect and provided for everything we were looking for. We were so happy to have stayed in the quaint and cozy town of Praiano - with the convenience of spending time in bustling Positano and Amalfi. And Praiano has fantastic restaurants and beaches besides the amazing views. Thank you Giovanna and Pasquale for sharing your apartment and giving us the vacation of a lifetime.

Bella Vista!!!

The first thing to mention, is the breathtaking patio overlooking the Amalfi coast. Morning, afternoon and evening, the Bella vista is premium. The location was prime. We felt like a local walking through the village, past restaurants with terraces full of ambiance. Access to groceries at Tutto Tutti and a few wonderful restarting options within walking distance. Be prepared for the stairs… 67 of them to access this apartment. If you need help with your luggage hire a porter in advance. The apartment is a charming 2 bed 2 bath with A/c - phew! We needed it, as it was a second summer. The hosts are so lovely and accommodating and give you all the privacy you want, while ensuring that you are comfortable and always willing to answer any questions that you might have. Transportation is super easy in Praiano, with several options to access the town as well as neighbouring towns/cities. The local beaches are phenomenal and a must see. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Praiano. Bellisimo.

Paradise Found!!!

I have to begin by saying that Pasquale and Giovanna are the greatest hosts ever. Giovanna is so attentive in communicating with you before your trip. Her communication is fantastic! Pasquale met us at the bus, helped us with our luggage, gave us tomatoes and basil from his garden, and cooked us a delicious lunch one day. You truly do feel like their family when you are there. I miss them and wish I could have stayed forever. The apartment itself is delightful. It was very comfortable for my family of four. My kids are 17 and 12. The views are to die for. They are exactly as pictured in the photos. It is truly paradise. I went back and forth as to whether I wanted to stay in the heart to Positano and/or Amalfi. There is not much going on in Praiano. My whole family agreed that it was the smart choice to stay in Praiano. It felt like coming home to our secret relaxing home. It was an authentic experience. We took the city bus to the other towns. At first it seemed daunting but then we got the hang of it and the craziness of it added to our Italian experience. I will tell you that the stairs are no joke. They are not easy so if you have any kind of issue that would make it hard for you then just beware. I am not in great shape. I took them slowly. Saying that, staying at this apartment was the highlight of our trip. And my family and I feel blessed to have had spent time with Pasquale and Giovanna. They are special people and this is a special place.

Great stay with super friendly hosts

The flat was very tidy, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Easy to access. Close walking distance to two small grocery stores, a gym/bar (not making it up), a scooter rental, a few restaurants and the bus stop. Pasquale and Giovanna were extremely friendly and ready to offer advice. Highly recommended.

Very nice stay

It was a bit complicated to find the location, Giovanna gave many informations and directions but it was a little hard to follow since it was very very detailed. I think it would be easier to just say meet me at (one exact location) that we can put in the gps rather than very detailed directions to find the property. Otherwise Pasquale, Giovanna’s husband was nice when we managed to find him. He was very sweet and wanted us to have the best stay possible. Very nice stay overall, nice view and nice place ! A Small Piece of Paradise

Words cannot begin to describe our stay. A little piece of Heaven-on-Earth. Our host Pasquale met us on arrival and showed us the property. He was in contact with us throughout our stay and treated us more like family than as guests. One day he went as far as to provide us a freshly grilled fish lunch. The property itself is everything it is described as. Good size for 4 adults and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The town of Praiano is a quiet little village that was just perfect for us as we had been to Rome for 3 weeks and were looking to kick back and take it slow for a while. The beaches and restaurants in the area were all very nice and all the local people were very friendly. Be prepared to walk and climb steps - but that was not an issue for us and it helps walk off the food we indulged in :-). I would highly recommend this property and will most definitely be going back.

The best stay in Praiano

We absolutely loved our stay at Giovanna and Pasquale’s place! Pasquale is the sweetest Italian man who we had the pleasure of running into a few times while out and we were always greeted with the best smile and Ciao’s. If you don’t make the mistake of arriving via lower Praiano, the stairs won’t be an issue for you. The views are incredible and the place is the best typical Italian stay. 100% recommend!

Highly recommended.

The location is perfect, between Amalfi and Positano. It is very quiet. The view from the flat is amazing. There are many steps in Praiano but that is part of the Amalfi experience. Giovanna and Pasquale are wonderful hosts. In 15 years of using VRBO rentals we have never received such personal attention from our hosts. They went above and beyond and were very attentive to making our stay a wonderful one and are truly beautiful people. In 15 years of using VRBO, we have never written a review of any stay. For us to do so now is special. Highly recommended to those visiting the Amalfi Coast.
