The View is a detached, newly renovated mountain cottage located at 1,250 meters above sea level above Poschiavo. The name says it all: From the cottage, you can enjoy a sweeping panoramic view of Poschiavo, the Valposchiavo, Lake Puschlav, and the local mountain, Sassalbo. The vacation home is ideal for up to 6 people seeking peace, privacy, nature, and modern comforts in a special setting.

• Accommodates up to 6 people: 3 bedrooms with double beds (180 × 200 cm). Each bedroom has its own wood-burning stove for cozy warmth on colder days.
• Living with a view: Living room with a large window overlooking Poschiavo, Lake Puschlav, and Sassalbo, a dining table for 6 people, and a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings.
• Modern Kitchen: Built-in kitchen with an induction stove, oven, refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and dishwasher—ideal for a relaxing self-catering vacation.
• Bathroom: Large bathroom with a bathtub, shower, toilet, and sink. Additionally, there is a separate toilet with a sink and shower on the first floor.
• Heating: The house is heated with wood; firewood is provided. Additionally, there is electric floor heating in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom on the 1st floor, provided there is sufficient electricity.
• Sustainability: The house is not connected to the public power grid and is powered by an 18 kWp solar system with a battery capacity of 42 kWh. A backup generator is available if needed.
• Outdoor Area: Patio with a grill, table for 6 people, lounge chairs, and a parasol—ideal for quiet and relaxing moments in nature.
• Electric Car: Type 2 charging station with cable available; billing based on usage at CHF 0.65/kWh.

• Nature & Activities: Hiking trails and biking routes are right in the surrounding area. In winter, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, and other winter sports are also easily accessible.
• Excursions: Poschiavo, the Bernina Railway (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Engadin, the Valtellina, and Livigno (duty-free zone) are all within easy reach and offer a variety of day trips combining mountains, culture, wine regions, and shopping.
• Shopping & Restaurants: Shopping and restaurants are located in Poschiavo, about a 10-minute drive from the house or a 30-minute walk.
• Cuisine & Culture: You’ll find excellent regional cuisine in the surrounding area. Poschiavo also offers museums, events, and a vibrant cultural scene.

• Pets: Pets are welcome but must be registered prior to arrival.
• Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available and included in the price.
• Power Supply: Since the house is solar-powered and not connected to the public power grid, we ask guests to use electricity conservatively, especially during extended periods of bad weather.
• Heating & Stove Use: Guests operate the wood-burning stoves themselves and are asked to use them carefully and responsibly according to the house instructions.
• Linens: Bed linens, towels (1 set per person per stay), and kitchen linens are provided.
• Check-in: Self-check-in is available. The necessary information will be provided prior to arrival.
• Outdoor Area: The garden features a seating area, grill, lounge chairs, and a beach umbrella. The property is not fenced.
• Security: The outdoor area is partially monitored by video surveillance.
• House Rules: Smoking inside the house is prohibited. Parties and events are not permitted.
• Duty of Care: Guests are liable for any damage caused by improper use of the house, furnishings, wood-burning stoves, grill, energy system, or outdoor area. Please report any damage or unusual occurrences immediately.
