Nice hotel in City center
4 nights i Jyli the Hotel has a good breakfast. Easy to find, and good car parking. Stayed in top floor the elevator was maybye a bit smal.

This hotel is in a wonderful location and was lucky to have a room with great views.The local architecture looks impressive day and night..Friendly and informative at Reception. I was here last year and had to return !

Boendet motsvarar inte helt beskrivningen på Expedia, rummet och allmänna utrymmen är smått slitna. Dock sköna sängar. Städningen använder medel med relativt kändbar lukt som stör känsliga. En hel del ljud från gatan på nattetid, öronproppar rekommendas. Men, fantastisk service och god frukost. Perfekt läge för sightseeing, mat och shopping. Rekommenderar med kanske med lägre ’rating’ än nuvarande.

Convenient location for access to the train, restaurants and pharmacies with a good tour operator next door. The manager was at the reception when we were checking out and was pleasant and cheerful. The staff serving breakfast as well were courteous. Everyone else at the front desk was very unfriendly and noted first hand to be quite rude to another guest. The breakfast buffet daily was plentiful with various options and the highlight of the stay. The rooms are very noisy despite notices posted on the walls stating they were “quiet zones”. The door to the toilet did not open all the way, scraping and getting stuck on the floor. The commode is adjacent to the sink, mere millimeters between the two. Towels hang close to the commode from the sink and close to the bidet from the wall…something I find quite unhygienic, and utterly impractical. There is no exhaust in the bathroom so the humidity and mist lingers long after a shower. There was a couch in the room that put us off immediately, for all the visible stains on it. The curtains are not hooked properly and very dirty. Mold was noted in the bottom of the wall near the balcony door. Overall, we would not want to return to this hotel.

Foi muito prazerosa e agradável. Para faltou uma pequena atenção no atendimento. Não fui informado de que tinha direito a café da manhã e também não usaram de compreensão quando pedi para efetuar o pagamento total no dia seguinte em virtude de ter chegado em um domingo e o banco no Brasil não ter efetuado a transferência para conta internacional durante todo FDS. Expliquei a situação e me dispus a pagar a primeira noite em dinheiro e concluir o restante no dia seguinte, assim não seria obrigado a pagar IOF do cartão de crédito. Não me autorizaram e fui obrigado a sair em desvantagem. No restante, estadia realmente muito boa. Quarto arejado, bem iluminado, hotel muito bem localizado e com instalações excelentes. Ponto extremamente positivo ao nos deixarem guardar nossas bagagens sem custo praticamente um dia inteiro até nos dirigirmos do centro do Porto até o aeroporto já no fim da noite. Certamente recomendo, porém fica a dica para a gerência quanto aos pequenos detalhes mencionados. Grato!

Habitación muy pequeña, cama doble pequeña, nada que ver con la foto que aparece en la web, sin puerta en el armario, baño muy viejo, solo un ascensor para todo el hotel. Nos decepcionó bastante al llegar. Cómo positivo, cama cómoda, desayuno bueno y con zumo de naranja natural.

Buenos d]ias,Lamentamos que su experiencia no haya sido del todo de su agrado. Nuestras camas son de tamaño estándar de 1,40 por 2 metros y sólo las habitaciones con dos camas individuales de 0,90 por 2 metros son un poco más anchas. Cabe destacar que las zonas de nuestro hotel, que datan del año 1913, son de difícil adaptación a la actualidad.Agradecemos sus comentarios y esperamos que hayan disfrutado de nuestra ciudad.Hasta la próxima.Saludos,Maria

I would recommend this hotel. The location was great. Walking distance from everything you want to see in Porto. The only reason I gave a 4 stars was because we didn’t get the room we booked the first night. They move us to a very nice room the following day. I would definitely return to this hotel. The breakfast buffet was really nice but a bit pricy if not included with the room.

Right in the middle of most of attractions. The cathedral for those who are religious, the famous Bridge to Villa Nova de Gaia for wine tasting, shopping area is around the hotel. Don't forget the food, restaurants at very reasonable prices are plenty are also within walking distances.
