«Cottage was enhanced by the owner's beautiful gardens - particularly the rose garden right outside the cottage door. I spent long days in class, so enjoyed coming back to this lovely setting. Host was very prompt in replies. Property was clean and attractive. It was a short distance to the Pacific NW Art School where I was spending my days.»

«This property was a wonderful find and perfect for our 3-day getaway. The views from the Hideaway Hut exceeded expectations. Moreover, the numerous nature trails around the whole property, in addition to the truly amazing trail to the beach, was an extra bonus! «Mitch and Michelle were very communicative leading up to our arrival and graciously upgraded us to their cottage next door. The home was spacious and stocked with everything we needed, including board games and books about the region. They greeted us when we arrived, gave us recommendations for places to visit in the area, and let us know about all the features on the property. «Very quiet and felt isolated, loved the Nespresso! Shower dial was not very ergonomic- easy to nudge and totally change the temperature. Overall, very clean, comfy bed good living space enjoyed our time there although the checkout time was a bit early and by the time I saw the option to check out later for an additional $20 the offer was gone! »

«This is a beautiful quaint house. Loved the sunrises, watching the sea life. Hot tub was refreshing. The host is prompt and so generous for having us enjoy her piece of paradise. We will stay here again.»

«Other than the TV volume not working, I would stay here again but not without a rental car or e-bike as it is difficult to walk directly to restaurants or grocery stores due to cul de sacs and fenced in properties. Very nice cottage for up to 2 persons and very responsive hosts. Go Tartans!»

«This was a well appointed home. Everything you could possibly want was there..the kitchen had all the gear you have at home, there were day pals, umbrellas, computer, local guide books, laundry and on and on. Lovely owner who bent over backwards to make the stay lovely.»

«This place was wonderful and the pictures did not do it justice! It was ann adorable quaint waterfront location and the view spectacular. There were 4 of us and rooms were comfortable. Had all the cooking items needed, and linen. We took the Bremerton Ferry into Seattle which is a nice trip into the city. Then in the evenings we would come back and sit outside next to the water and light the fire. Was a great setup for 3-4 individuals and highly recommend.»

«This place was incredible! From the deck you could see Swan Lake, the Olympics, the Salish Sea, Canada, and the San Juan Islands. There were tons of Eagles and Herons all over the place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I recommend it for ANYONE!»

Nice, budget friendly place with friendly staff
"Had a great stay at Best Motel prior to our cruise. We arrived a couple of hours early but the very nice gentleman at the reception, who is probably the owner, let us check in right away when we said we just got off a 12hr flight from Europe and just wanted to get some sleep. The room was nice and clean with a big, comfortable bed. It had everything we needed except for a safe, not sure if they had one and I just didn't find it. Lots of restaurants nearby. The bus stop for the E line which takes you to downtown Seattle in about half an hour is also very close to the hotel. All in all a great place to stay if you're on a budget but still wanna be close to the city center."
