A beautiful custom built Gulf front home located in the Piney Woods Subdivision on South Cape. This home has 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The Hideaway offers a ton of amenities like no other, a Private Pool (can be heated for an Additional fee) Hot tub, outdoor pool table, 2 outdoor showers, Corn hole and much more. With tons of deck space covered and not covered The Hideaway is great for relaxing and entertaining. This private Gulf front estate has amazing views on every deck and a private board walk to the beach. Entering the The Hideaway on the (Ground Level) you will have a large entertainment area with two couches a large Smart TV/Cable, Indoor corn hole, shuffle board table, and a built in chest set/card table. This area also offers an additional Fridge/Freezer for over flow, a half bath, laundry room, elevator access and access to the outdoor entertainment deck. Headed up to the second floor will be a spacious living room, kitchen and dining area all offering spectacular views of the gulf. The living room has a large sectional couch with a Smart TV/cable. The dining table seats 16 and the kitchen bar top seats 4. Like cooking at home? The Hideaway’s kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need todo so. This floor also has two bedrooms and a full bathroom (please see the bedroom configurations below). Jumping on the elevator and arriving on the third floor to your left will be the Master Suite with panoramic views of the gulf and a private full bathroom including a jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. Exiting the master through the hallway you will have two additional bedrooms that share the third full bathroom. Working remote? this home has exceptional WIFI that ranges to all floors, the Master Suite has a unique office desk setup with a bluetooth printer equipped with paper & printer ink. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Had EVERYTHINGThe checkin process was phenomenal. The elevator wasn’t working when we checked in. I messaged and received a call from Taylor very quickly. She was very helpful. I can’t remember the name of the guy who came to fix it - from the trading post/ he was also phenomenal- had it working very quickly-gave us tips and recommendations super helpful. Also had an issue with the AC upstairs messaged late Wednesday they sent someone Thursday morning and quickly had it working. The pool and gameroom were awesome. The house is so well stocked - tent, beach chairs, sand toys, board games, game room. Allll the things. I wish we had known prior to traveling -we could have packed so much less. The second fridge downstairs in the gameroom was a great bonus. And convenient to the pool. Had a few questions at check out to which they were less responsive than check in but overall great staff. Full disclosure- a little hike to the beach, not terrible but golf carts aren’t allowed on that stretch of the cape so be prepared to lug beach items unless you pay the 300 permit to drive on the beach. (Beach wagon was provided so -huge plus) Also, the beach is not the white sandy Gulf beaches you may be accustomed to, much more like the Atlantic beaches. Brown packed sand. No sunrise or sunset photos from this location. Overall great place to stay. Beautiful home - great staff -Highly recommend

We loved our stay at The Hideaway. We had 3 families with 6 adults and 7 kids and this was the perfect size. The location is wonderful and feels remote. We would definitely consider this place again!

Great Family Breach house

My family really liked this house and the location. It felt like I was on a remote beach and the view from the house was beautiful. The house itself was just as described. We did pay extra to heat the pool and the water temperature of the pool was perfect to swim in despite it being 40 outside. Would stay again.

Ocean Bliss

The Hideaway in Cape San Blas was an amazing escape from reality for a little while. Cape San Blas is my place when it comes to walking on the beach in seclusion meeting an occasional friendly face while beachcombing with family or wading in the ocean or letting the kids build a sandcastle. Then head back to the house for a dip in the perfectly heated pool or hot tub. A game of pool is also unique, though the sun is showing wear on that, some new balls and pool sticks would go a long way. Also while we were there, the houses next door were being worked on, which ongoing maintenance is necessary and unavoidable, it just always stinks when it happens your week you come to relax. Inside the house is plenty of room to spread out for all, yet also plenty of room to gather as well. Loved the large table, though we were just our family of six, we did many puzzles at the large table while still having plenty of room for meals! Loved the shuffleboard, chess/checker table, corn hole in the game room as well as elevator for groceries! You do have to plan groceries there, Piggly Wiggly in Port St. Joe is the nearest big grocery and is about 20 min away, so just plan accordingly if you don't want to run all the time, and the Dollar Market has some groceries, beer and wine in town as well. Otherwise the Trading Post in Cape San Blas is more of a mom and pop place for smaller runs. Hope that helps! If you want quiet peaceful bliss on the beach with no highrises, this is your place!

Bachelorette Weekend

We had plenty of room and essentials for cooking. You will definitely need to bring your own toiletries and food, but otherwise everything you need is provided. The owner was very communicative and helpful in finding activities near the home. We enjoyed the hot tub pool and the beach, along with the many great activities locally. I would recommend putting the trash in the garage before going to bed at night as there are animals that try to get into the trash bins. I highly recommend this space to families, friends, and all those who want and easy and enjoyable stay.

A lovely stay!

Peaceful & Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway. The house was beautiful and clean. All of the beds were comfy except the trundle, which was squeaky and not the best quality. The dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes so we did a lot of handwashing. The ice maker also did not work, which meant we had to use the counter ice machine and purchase ice as well. The extra fridge only has a working drawer and freezer which would have been nice to know ahead of time. We were also down a bathroom because of sewage issues which was disappointing. Communication was good, and arrival and departure were great. Overall, we enjoyed the pool and beach which is what we came for.

Great Family Friendly House!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We’ve stayed on the Cape a few times now and this house is our new favorite. The heated pool was especially great for our kids during the cooler February days and the beach access was so convenient for easy trips to play in the sand. The house has lots of games & toys for both adults and kids - it even had baby gates for the stairs which was a HUGE help with the 4 young children in our group. Tylor, the property manager was excellent as well. He was extremely responsive and happy to assist however we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Stay in Port St. Joe

My wife's family and I had a great time getting away for a weekend on a long overdue beach trip. The property was gorgeous and very well maintained. So wonderful!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The property manager Tylor was so easy to work with and accommodating! We enjoyed the house- the kitchen was fully stocked, and ready for all the cooking and baking we did! The hot tub was amazing! The beds were great, and having an elevator truly was a blessing! The view from the master is stupendous! To watch the sunrise from there was one of our highlights! Thank you from all 20 of us!!

Just beautiful

The house is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. It was clean, had lots of amenities that we enjoyed during our family reunion like the game tables, heated pool, and hot tub. The beach was spectacular. Never seen so many shells. The host was unbelievable!!! Easy to contact, always answered the phone and answered all questions, and just a really nice person! We would definitely recommend this beautiful home

Cousins Trip 2023

We take a yearly Cousins trip and this place was absolutely my favorite so far! Tylor was outstanding with response to any questions we had! The place was extremely clean and absolutely gorgeous. It was perfect for a larger family vacation. We are already talking about planning to come back!

House has Everything!

Don’t know how to be any more accurate than incredible. This house has everything. The pool to every kitchen item needed. Beds are incredibly comfortable, the massive dinner table seats everyone. Just an absolute pleasure to stay here. Will recommend to any large group of friends or multiple families.

Dads' Getaway

This is a beautiful home! Spacious wonderful main floor with plenty of seating and charm. The pool is nice and new and loved having our own beach access. Only two bits that could improve it is to screen-in the deck/porch due to the amount of bugs around and the policy to have every dish washed and put away before departure - typically being able to load and start the dishwasher is satisfactory. Otherwise, wonderful home and vacation!

Summer 2023

This house was very spacious for our group of 18. We cook all our meals. Kitchen is not large but was very well stocked which was great and not the norm from our experiences. Very nice with our private boardwalk to the beach. There was a charcoal grill but would recommend a second to accommodate large groups. There was a plumbing issue which was addressed and fixed as well as an AC issue which was resolved within a couple of hours. Best customer service from the property manager ever! Responded quickly to text and calls and even came himself to make sure all was right!

Great house. Beach not so great.

We absolutely loved the house! It was clean, modern and super comfy. Kitchen is kind of small but very well stocked. Even though this house is considered “beach front”, there is a very long walk to the beach. Also, the beach here is more like a lake. We had to pack up every day and drive two miles down the road to find the “pretty beaches”.

Has everything you need

We had a large group with us during our stay. We were so impressed with the use of every bit of space. It has everything you need, games, entertainment, relaxing areas and room for everyone. I will totally come back, it’s a beautiful beach house.
